Underwater Hockey Association Singapore Established in 2004, UWH SG provides leadership in the growth and development of UWH in Singapore.

With active members from several countries: Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Belgium, South Africa, Portugal, Neatherlands, Australia, Germany and the UK, SUHC is easily one of the world’s most international underwater hockey clubs. SUHCers range in age from sixteen-year-old teens to seniors in their fiftees, and the group consists of a relatively high proportion of female players

(around one-out-of-three are women). SUHC has engaged its UWH neighbors Australia, Japan, New Zealand and the Philippines in friendly competition, topping things off by hosting the first Asian Underwater Hockey Championships (the AUHCs) in 2007 here in Singapore. We invite all sports enthusiasts, fitness buffs, and anyone who simply loves to play in the water to come join us for our twice-weekly games. Experienced players are on-hand to teach the basics to new players and anyone interested in trying out this exciting team sport

U19 OPEN 🏆🇸🇬

The U19 Open finished the round robin as the second seed, but their biggest challenge was still to come.

Waiting in the final was China Bubble, the same team that had beaten Singapore 8–2 earlier in the round robin.

This time, it was a different story.

In a tense final, the U19 Open held their nerve and came away with a 3–2 victory over China Bubble, securing the title at the 2026 CMAS Asian Championship Underwater Hockey.

From an 8–2 defeat to a 3–2 final victory. 🇸🇬🏆

ELITE MEN 🏆🇸🇬

The Elite Men finished the round robin as the second seed, just behind the Philippines.

Their road to the final took them past Japan, setting up a rematch against the Philippines for the championship.

What followed was a nail-biting final. At the end of regulation, neither side could be separated, with the score tied at 2–2.

Into extra time, Singapore found the goals they needed, finishing 4–2 and claiming the title at the 2026 CMAS Asian Championship Underwater Hockey. 🇸🇬🏆

The Elite Women entered the final as the top seed, having finished the round robin at the top of the standings.

Waiting for them in the final was the Philippines.

In a tantalising final, Singapore held their ground and eventually pulled away to secure a 4–2 victory, bringing home the title at the 2026 CMAS Asian Championship Underwater Hockey.

From first seed to final whistle, the Elite Women stayed unbeaten and finished the tournament as Asian Champions. 🇸🇬🏆

the perfect birthday gift for our nation 🇸🇬

Team Singapore won 3 gold medals at the 9th CMAS Asian Underwater Hockey Championship, held in Bogor, Indonesia from Aug. 5 to 8.

According to Underwater Hockey Singapore’s official pages, we came out on top in the U19 Mixed, Elite Women, and Elite Men divisions.

The U19 Mixed team defeated the China Bubbles Team 3–2, while the Elite Women’s team beat the Philippines 4–2.

The Elite Men’s team also defeated the Philippines 4–2 in extra time.

Today marks a proud milestone for Underwater Hockey Singapore.

At the 9th CMAS Asian Underwater Hockey Championship in Bogor, Indonesia, Team Singapore delivered an outstanding performance, bringing home three Gold medals in the premier divisions.

🥇 U19 Mixed defeated China Bubbles Team 3–2
🥇 Elite Women defeated the Philippines 4–2
🥇 Elite Men defeated the Philippines 4–2 in Extra Time

These victories are the result of months of dedication, sacrifice, and teamwork by our athletes, coaches, officials, and supporters. Every training session, every challenge overcome, and every ounce of commitment led to this unforgettable achievement.

As Singapore celebrates her birthday, our teams could not have asked for a better way to honour the nation. Three gold medals, three championship performances, and one unforgettable moment for Singapore underwater hockey.
