A Much Needed Moral Boosting Victory

After two straight heavy defeats, this was a much needed moral boosting win for the boys not just because of the result, but because of the way we responded as a team.

We started the game cautiously, understandably affected by the big hammerings in our previous two matches. That hesitation allowed the opponent to hit the post before eventually taking an early lead within the first 10 minutes. However, instead of panicking, we gradually settled our confidence and began playing our football.

Once we found our rhythm, the teamwork, slick passing combinations, wall passes and through balls started to click. Our defensive high line also worked effectively, compressing the available spaces and forcing the opponent to rely more on sideways passes rather than dangerous forward play. Most importantly, we defended and attacked as one team.

At the end of the 1st quarter, our persistence paid off as our beloved Ayun, Man of the Century, grabbed a deserved equaliser after an intentional and perfectly executed through ball by Din.

The 2nd quarter saw a bunch of player changes, but the style and philosophy remained the same. We continued to move the ball patiently without unnecessarily forcing the play forward. This composure eventually rewarded us with the lead, before Farid struck again in quick succession to extend our advantage to two goals, with assists from Din and indra the irritating bastard.

In the 3rd and 4th quarters, we showed much better maturity. We absorbed the opponent's attacks, defended together and looked dangerous on the counter. Farid completed his hat-trick, with the final assist coming from Hairi, who was given a new role as a winger and adapted brilliantly to the position.

This victory was about more than just a winning scoreline. It was about character, confidence and togetherness.

After two difficult games and heavy defeats, the boys showed that we can bounce back, trust our football and, most importantly, trust each other. The passing, movement, defensive discipline and willingness to work for one another were all positive signs.

The scars from the previous two defeats are still there, but today we showed that we are capable of getting back up.

A well deserved win, a much-needed confidence boost, and a reminder that when we defend as a team, attack as a team and play for each other, we are a completely different side.

A Wake Up Call

A walloping defeat , a result that we cannot hide from. The scoreline was harsh, but the biggest concern was how five of the goals conceded came from individual, avoidable mistakes.

For the 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters, the game was actually quite even. We had decent possession, moved the ball reasonably well and competed with the opponent. However, our own carelessness when playing the ball out from the back allowed the opponent to punish us, giving away goals that simply should not have happened.

At the other end, we had opportunities of our own but failed to take our chances. When opportunities came our way, we were unable to capitalise, and against a good opponent, those missed chances eventually came back to haunt us.

The 4th quarter was a different story. Chasing the game forced us to commit more players forward, but once the opponent hit us on the counter, the whole team seemed to fall apart. We lost our shape, discipline and composure, and the final quarter became a complete giveaway.

This was a tough lesson. We need to wake up, take responsibility for our individual mistakes, be more ruthless in front of goal and stay disciplined as a team.

Forget the scoreline, learn from the mistakes and respond in the next game.

Better wake up guys because the next game starts with us.

It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get up.

Despite suffering a heavy defeat, we came up against a very strong Chinese Foreign side that showcased an impressive standard of football. They were technically excellent, moving the ball confidently with quick short passes, precise through balls, dangerous crosses, and accurate long switches of play that constantly stretched our defence.

Their movement, fitness, and understanding of the game allowed them to dominate possession and control the tempo throughout the match. On top of that, they were clinical in front of goal, taking their chances with excellent finishing.

We were outplayed in many aspects of the game, and the result reflected the quality of our opponents. While it was a difficult night, matches like these provide valuable lessons.

We must learn from this experience, continue improving our fitness, decision-making, and teamwork, and use this defeat as motivation to come back stronger in the next game.

A heavy defeat is never easy to accept, but facing strong opponents can expose areas for growth and help the team improve for future matches.

A Comeback Built on Belief and Character

What looked destined to be a heavy defeat turned into an unforgettable contest as we battled back to earn a dramatic draw against a young, energetic, and relentless opponent.

The opening quarter was a difficult one. We looked disjointed, with no one stepping up to take control or dictate the tempo of the game. Our opponents capitalized on our slow start, taking a commanding four goal lead through a series of well worked and wonderful finishes.

The second quarter finally gave us a lifeline. Andy rose highest to power home a superb header from an exquisite Beckham like cross delivered by our beloved Ayun man of the century, giving us renewed hope. However, the momentum was short lived as our opponents responded almost immediately with their fifth goal and what a goal it was. Refusing to fold, we fought back again before half-time when the ever charismatic Ayun man of the century found the net to reduce the deficit. There was a real sense that the game was turning our way, and we had the perfect chance to close the gap further after winning a penalty, but unfortunately, we couldn't convert.

The second half showcased the true character of the team. Belief grew stronger with every minute as we clawed our way back, reducing the score to 5-4 with Andy and Deen scoring in the third quarter. The pressure continued to build until Fendi the father of all chicken finally grabbed the deserved equaliser in the fourth quarter.

Sensing an incredible comeback, we pushed forward once more and were rewarded when Andy completed his hat-trick to put us in front for the first time in the match. It was a remarkable turnaround that reflected the team's resilience and determination.

Sadly, the game took another twist when our dependable full-back, Fithri, suffered a dislocated shoulder, forcing us to reshuffle our lineup. As fatigue began to creep in, we dropped deeper and deeper into our own half. Despite our efforts, the relentless pressure eventually led to a heartbreaking late equaliser.

In all fairness, a draw was probably the right result for both teams that gave everything until the final whistle.

A huge kudos to every single player for believing, fighting until the very end, and never giving up. This comeback was built on heart, resilience, and togetherness.

Finally, on a more serious note, we wish our Horseman, Fithri, a speedy and full recovery. Get well soon—we're all behind you.

Despite the defeat, it was a positive performance against a solid, disciplined, and well organise opponent. Our players put up a tremendous fight from the first whistle to the last, showing resilience and determination throughout the match.

Even with a depleted and thin squad, the team remained committed to our style of play. We stayed patient in possession, built from the back with composure, and resisted the temptation to force passes or rush our attacks. The discipline and belief in our football identity were evident despite the challenging circumstances.

Most importantly, this performance reflected the character of the team. Every player gave their all, supported one another, and battled until the final whistle. While the result did not go our way, there is plenty to be proud of. The commitment, spirit, and resilience shown during this difficult period are qualities we will continue to build on as we move forward together.

Yes, results matter but never at the expense of team spirit. Wins fade, but character, unity, and the way we stand together define who we truly are.
