Y-Sparks Fencing Team was born in the end of February, 2007. Our first group consisted of 6 young fencers who were training at a dance studio at Toa Payoh Sports Complex. 3 months later, we moved to Studio B at YMCA of Singapore located at One Orchard Road just next to the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station. Throughout the years our fencing team has expanded and managed to achieve exceptional results in loca

l and international overseas competitions. Currently, we specialize in foil and epee training. Our team is coached by foreign coaches who all have university degrees in sports science. Through our professional work, some of our athletes were able to achieve superb results, winning medals in local competitions in just 2 - 3 years after training with us! This was only possible due to their utmost dedication and willingness to learn and win, training not less than 3 times a week.
