Blucore

Blucore Intelligent products for the intelligent swimmer. Swimming requires not only physical strength, but also a sharp mind and keen proprioceptive skills.

Swimmers are an intelligent breed, and this intelligence is something that should be both appreciated and challenged. For all of these reasons - and more - swimming prowess is not developed overnight, and talent alone is not enough. There is no magic formula. At Blucore, we aim to embody this mantra. Our goal is not to make swimming easier, but to make the swimmer more efficient. We want to provid

e products that will challenge swimmers both physically and mentally, and work with them to develop complex skills over time.

The swimming community of NZ has been absolutely rocked and is reeling in dismay at Swim NZ's decision to deny Kane and Charlotte the opportunity to represent NZ at the Rio 2016 Olympics. What a devastating blow to grass roots swimming, open water and pool. Kane Radford and Charlotte Webby were reco...

Congrats Matt Haanappel! Well deserved berth for a true champion in and out of the water.

Earlier this week, I was informed that I would be NOMINATED to take a spot on the Australian Paralympic Swim Team heading to the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.

I am extremely honoured to given the opportunity to swim again for my country at a second Paralympic Games.

To everyone that has supported me in getting me to this point I must thank you all!! Particularly throughout 2015 and my shoulder surgery recovery :)

We will be flying over to Auburn University in Alabama in mid-August for Staging Camp with the Games starting September 7.

In 80 days on September 7, the Games will commence and all the action can be viewed on Channel 7, 7TWO and the iPhone/iPad app.

No surprise, sparks flew on the first day of World Juniors. The times, however, exceeded expectations to say the least.

Minna Atherton blew away the World Junior record in the heats of the 100 back with a thunderous 59.83, a maiden voyage under 60 for both Minna and the record.

Matt Wilson followed suit, lowering his Aussie record by nearly a second to 1:01.51 in the heats of the 100 breast. In semis, both Minna and Matt went eerily close to their heats times to comfortably book tickets for the finals tomorrow.

Then it was relay time - and what a time the Aussies had. Kyle Chalmers (4x100 free) and Shayna Jack (4x200) joined with team mates to crush the world and take home golds.
