On the morning of Friday 4th September, our MAG and RG athletes were part of the MCCY Athlete Engagement Session!💪🎀

We were honoured with a visit from Ms Goh Hanyan, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), who visited the MAG and RG National Training Center during the senior national athletes’ training.

Her visit proved meaningful as she engaged with the athletes who were preparing for the upcoming Asian Games. Serving as a much needed encouragement for the gymnasts working hard to represent Singapore in the major regional competition.

Thank you to Ms Goh and here’s to our national gymnasts and coaches preparing for the Asian games! 🇸🇬✨

📣 MAG Team Update – 2026 Asian Games🏯

Singapore Gymnastics would like to announce that Kenzu Kang will be replacing Jovi Loh for the upcoming 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.

Jovi unfortunately sustained an injury during the Commonwealth Games' MAG All-Around final and had subsequently underwent surgery. He is now focused on his rehabilitation and recovery, thus will not be able to partake in the Asian Games and World Championships as it was previously announced.

Nevertheless, we believe Jovi will return stronger and better. SG wishes him a smooth and speedy recovery, thank you for your hard work and dedication, Jovi!

Kenzu will step in to represent Singapore alongside the rest of the team. Let's rally behind our gymnasts as they take on the Asian Games! 💪🇸🇬

We are pleased to welcome Coach Lu Li as the WAG SGDP Expert to Singapore Gymnastics! 🤸‍♀️

Coach Lu Li will be joining the camp alongside our athletes and coaches where she will be able to share her technical expertise and experiences as a former Chinese national team gymnast and a 1992 Olympic Champion (Uneven Bars) and a Silver medallist (Balance Beam).

Athletes attending the SGDP camp can look forward to her workshop that provides an exciting opportunity for our gymnasts and coaches to learn from an experienced international expert!
