Bedok Kings Skyllas

The Bedok Kings Skyllas was founded in February 2011 by a group of ladies united in their passion and love for contact rugby. Though founded in 2010, the original members had already been playing for 6 years for Singapore Recreation Club until its closure in the same year. Since then, the club has grown from strength to strength and is proud to be home to over 50 members to d

ate. While the majority of our players are young, they come from all walks of life and bring a broad level of diversity, in terms of age, background and experience to the club. The club actively competes in local and regional 7s, 10s and 15s tournaments. Not only is the club the reigning champion of the Singapore Rugby Women’s 7s, we more recently successfully defended our title in the Singapore Rugby Women’s 15s league 2011/2012, emerging victorious for the second year running. In addition, we have also won the Championship for the 2015 15s season! While women’s rugby in Singapore has been gaining increasing prominence over the years, the club believes that more can be done to cultivate interest in the sport. To this end, the club works closely with the Singapore Rugby Union in their conduct of various rugby clinics and other activities designed to promote the sport amongst youths in Singapore. Worry not if you have no experience in sports or much less any form of rugby for that matter. With a panel of experienced coaches, seniors and encouraging team mates, we assure you a smooth integration into the sport and into the club. We’re on the hunt for an Assistant Coach (forwards-specific) to join our coaching team for the upcoming 15s season (Jul–Nov).

Your focus? The pack.
From scrums to set pieces, we’re looking for someone passionate about developing strong, smart forwards.

You’ll be working closely with our Head Coach and section committee.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has playing AND coaching experience (forwards-specific)
- Communicates well and openly. Bonus if you’ve had experience coaching a women’s team
- Min of L1 Coaching certificate
