🌊 A chapter we’ll never forget.

IVF World Sprint Championships was a truly humbling and eye-opening experience — racing alongside some of the world’s greatest paddlers, all gathered in one tiny red dot 🇸🇬

For VTF, this World Championship marks a milestone — and a proud new chapter in our journey. We battled our way through and made it to Repechage and Semi-Finals across multiple categories, including:

🏁 Open Men V12 500m — Semi-Finals
🏁 Master 50s Men V1 500m — Repechage (uncle power 💪🏻)
🏁 Master 40s Women V6 1000m — Repechage
🏁 Master 40s Men V6 500m — Repechage
🏁 Master 50s Men V6 500m — Repechage ( uncle power 💪🏻)
🏁 Open Men V6 1500m — Repechage

The results are more than just placings on a scoreboard. They represent our hardwork, the courage to step up, and the experience of testing ourselves against the very best.

A special shoutout to the VTF members who volunteered throughout the race. Their time, effort and support helped everything run smoothly, and the event would not have been the same without them. 🙌

During our latest team call, we took a moment to go back to our roots and remind everyone where Va’a Team France really comes from, and what truly unites us as a crew.

A huge thank you to Heiva.ponia, who was there from the very beginning of VTF, for gifting us this powerful call straight from his Tahitian dance crew. Words that carry so much more than rhythm — they carry mana.

Ē tū... stand tall, rise up, get ready.
Te ki’e... hold your posture, lift the collective energy.
Ki’e, ki’e, ki’e, ki’e! ... the chant that unites us, that locks our sync, that tells us it’s time to hit the water — together.

One crew. One heart. One ki’e.

This is more than words before paddling out. This is who we are.

Lors de notre dernier appel d’équipe, on a pris un moment pour se replonger dans nos racines et rappeler à toute l’équipe d’où vient vraiment Va’a Team France, et ce qui nous unit réellement en tant qu’équipage.

Un immense merci à Heiva.ponia, présent depuis les tout débuts de VTF, qui nous a offert cet appel puissant venu tout droit de sa troupe de danse tahitienne. Des mots qui portent bien plus qu’un rythme — ils portent du mana.

Ē tū... se tenir droit, se lever, se préparer.
Te ki’e... garder la posture, élever l’énergie collective.
