NTU Lifesaving

NTU Lifesaving We Swim. We Rescue. We Compete. NTU Lifesaving is a sport where you can learn various lifesaving skills as well as take part in competitions!

By combining swimming skills, rescue techniques, & first aid skills, you can not only become a certified lifeguard but also take part in Lifesaving Competitions such as the annual National Lifesaving Championships hosted by Singapore Life Saving Society (SLSS). Competitions include both still & open water events like rescue simulations, obstacle courses, and team relay events! Our CCA welcomes any

one from various swimming backgrounds including those who cannot swim! We have a Learn To Swim (LTS) programme to teach those who wish to gain basic swimming skills :) If you already have some form of swimming background, you can join our weekly trainings where we will do endurance/resistance swim sets catered to your experience/level. Training Details

📍 NTU Swimming Pool, 20 Nanyang Green

Apart from trainings, NTU Lifesaving also organise the annual SwimFest which consists of 2 events - Overnight Swim & Mass Swim. We invite anyone who are able to swim to join us, challenge yourselves and stand a chance to win prizes and lucky draws :)

Swimfest 2026 was made special by each and every one of you. From first-time swimmers to seasoned endurance athletes, and volunteers who kept things running smoothly, your enthusiasm brought the pool to life.

With good weather, smooth operations, a freshly reopened NTU pool, and plenty of fuel from Jolt Energy Gummies and Boncafé coffee, we hope you enjoyed the full Swimfest experience as much as we did.

Behind every smooth Swimfest is an incredible team 💪💙

A huge shoutout to our officials, lifeguards, lap counters, medics, and organising committee who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to keep everything safe, smooth, and running like clockwork — even through the long overnight hours.
