2 DEC UPDATE – 11TH DAEDO TAEKWONDO OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

The latest Tentative Schedule & Fixtures (v0.9) have been released to all Team Managers today.
Minimal changes overall — thank you for your patience and support.

For categories with no opponents, proposed merges have been completed, and we are continuing to secure suitable match-ups where possible.

Thank you to all teams and referees for your support.
Local teams are reminded to send in one volunteer helper to assist with event operations.

We’ve just released the Updated Tentative Schedule - v0.8 to all Team Managers.

This updated version should be read together with the previously released Tentative Fixtures - v0.8.
Final reporting times will be shared next week, after teams have had time to review both the schedule and fixtures.

20 NOV UPDATE
11TH DAEDO TAEKWONDO OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

We’ve released the Tentative Fixtures [v0.8] to all Team Managers via email on 20 November 2025.

Key notes:
• Categories with large participation have been sub-divided into multiple groups where necessary.
• Competitors without opponents in their original categories have been safely merged with neighbouring divisions.
• For competitors who still have no opponents, teams are encouraged to write in if they have a suitable match-up, so that everyone can have a meaningful contest.

A revised schedule will be published soon.

A reminder to all Team Managers that the Team Managers’ Briefing & Drawing of Lots will be held on 21 November 2025, 10:00 AM (SGT).

2025 NOV 08 UPDATE
11TH DAEDO TAEKWONDO OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS

Here’s a summary of key updates that were sent to all Team Managers on 8 November 2025.

With a record number of participating teams and athletes this year, we’re working closely with all partners to ensure another smooth, fair, and meaningful championship experience for everyone. 💪

📅 Tentative Schedule (v0.7)
Competition setup will begin on Thursday, with matches starting Friday morning.
• All Poomsae events will now take place entirely on Day 1, going straight into finals to ensure smooth flow.
• Due to the large number of Kyorugi entries, this adjustment helps maintain a balanced and efficient schedule.
• As in 2024, we’ll be running 5 Poomsae/Kyorugi courts, 2 Virtual Taekwondo courts, and 2 Kyukpa courts — close to full capacity.
• The opening ceremony may be shortened/cancelled this year to prioritise event flow.

🗓️ Team Managers’ Briefing & Drawing of Lots
📍 18 November 2025 (Tuesday), 10:00 AM (SGT)
This session is for Team Managers only.
Details have been shared with registered teams via email, and both online (Zoom) and in-person options will be available.

🥋 Championship Title, Uniform & Equipment
To ensure smoother coordination this year, we’re working directly with Daedo International to streamline equipment and technical matters.
As stated in the Rules and Regulations:
• There will be no complimentary uniforms.
• Teams may use any white-based uniform brand, provided it follows their national association’s guidelines.
• Kyorugi: Electronic head and chest protectors will be provided; Daedo Gen 2 foot protectors available on loan.
• Virtual Taekwondo: All required equipment will be provided by the Organising Committee.
