Ostiane showed up at COS looking for a squad to help her train for her 10K open water challenge. Between work and busy life as a Mom, Osti consistency put in the time and effort. Even when our training pool and schedule changed she still showed up. And….it paid off! The jellies and sea couldn’t even stop her. And 2nd place overall?!!! BOOM. We are so proud. Well done 💪.

Congratulations to Brent Morgans for his overall 4th place AG finish and 3rd place on Stage 5 at the 5 day Volcanic Epic mountain bike race in New Zealand. Brent braved rain, wind and very muddy conditions over the event. Well done!!

Sebastian contacted COS Coaching in January with a dream of completing an Ironman in 2026. At that point Sebastian did not own a bike and could not swim.

Roll on a few months and at the weekend Sebastian successfully completed the Metasprint XL triathlon. Over the last few months Sebastian worked with Coach Colin on his overall triathlon plan and structure, with Coach April refining his swimming technique and with Coach Andrew on our regular Saturday morning COS coaching bike ride. This was truly a team effort to get Sebastian over the line.

It would not have been made possible without unwavering commitment and dedication by Sebastian. His enthusiasm, drive and willingness to improve impressed all the coaches. Well done Sebastian for completing the first step in your journey.

Congratulations to Gabriel Lazaro for his fantastic performance at Ironman 70.3 Colombo yesterday. In a race for where the swim was cancelled due to a crocodile sighting Gabriel finished in 4 hrs 16mins, was 2nd in his age group and qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Champs in Nice in September. Well done!
