🇸🇬🔥 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP PREP — FINAL COUNTDOWN! 🔥🇸🇬

As preparations intensify towards this weekend’s National MTB XCO & XCE Championships, things have been absolutely packed at the store! 🛠️🚲💨

We’re in the final stages of preparing the bikes for the race our riders have been anticipating for the past year — one of the biggest and most important races on our calendar. 🏆

This weekend, heads into the Men Elite category with his brand-new Polygon Syncline DR, moving from the hardtail he has raced for the past two seasons to this full-suspension XC weapon. 💪🔥

Kindly supported by , we didn’t just take the bike straight out of the box. Even though it’s brand new, we carried out a full strip-down and inspection to check every tolerance and moving part.

The suspension has been lowered on the front and dialled in to be plush and supple in the open mode, while still providing the support needed to attack the course — with a quick snap of the lockout turning this XC weapon into a near-rigid race machine. ⚡️

What a weekend at the ! 🚵‍♂️🔥

An event we look forward to every year, bringing the entire MTB community together. The atmosphere at Seven Drops was incredible—cheers, cowbells, supporters, and good vibes all around. 🔔🙌📸

🔧 Job done so quickly that we forgot to take our usual before-and-after photos!

👀 Here’s one of the main reasons your fork steerer may be creaking.

⚠️ Dirt and moisture can work their way into the tiny gaps where the steerer tube is pressed into the crown, causing oxidation at the interface and eventually that annoying creak.

🛠️ We can press the steerer out, clean the mating surfaces, reapply the correct retaining epoxy, and press it back into place.

✅ Cut your steerer too short? Swapping to a new frame? We can replace the steerer on most modern suspension forks, whether it’s a 1⅛” straight or tapered steerer.

⚙️ We also repair creaking CSUs on most fork models using the proper tools and equipment.

🛠️ This RockShox Monarch came in with a complaint that the shock was kicking the rider back on rebound, almost like a pogo stick 🪀, along with plenty of squishy noises 😵‍💫.

🔍 After an initial inspection, we found:
❌ Inner air can stuck inside the outer can, causing a severe stuck-down condition.
❌ Damper oil leaking internally into the air can due to a deteriorated O-ring in the seal head.

✅ The fix:
🔧 Full rebuild
🔧 New seals installed
🔧 Complete damper bleed

The shock is now back to performing as it should and the bike is ready to hit the trails again 🚵‍♂️💨

⚠️ Sometimes the smallest component creates the biggest problems.

Don’t wait until it gets to this stage! If your suspension feels different, sounds unusual, or simply hasn’t been serviced in a while, it’s time for an inspection.

🛡️ Prevention is always better (and cheaper) than cure.

🚴‍♂️🇸🇬 OCBC National Championships – ITT, Criterium & Road Race 🇸🇬🚴‍♂️

We were represented across all three disciplines last weekend, and what a blast it was! 🙌

For us, this was one of our tune-up races before the main event next month—the Mountain Bike National Championships. A chance to step outside our usual discipline, have fun, and enjoy some racing on the road.

Our team was represented in:
🔥 Youth
🔥 Junior
🔥 Men Open

Most importantly, everyone came back safely, with no major incidents and plenty of smiles. It was great rubbing shoulders with the road community—just a bunch of mountain bikers having fun on skinny tyres! 😄

We were also there to support Podium Performance 🇸🇬🇦🇺🇧🇪 riders , Arfan Faisal Jason ,and Dalvin , whom are all under the Maxxis Service Centre Singapore (BC) x TS Cycle / Ts Cycle / Skwiki sponsorship programme. 👏🏆

Last weekend was full of camaraderie, the friendships, and the memories made together. Honestly, this weekend felt more like a team bonding retreat than a race, and we loved every minute of it. ❤️

Finding that balance between racing hard and having fun is what it’s all about—knowing when to be serious and when to relax, soak it all in, and enjoy the journey.

🔧🔧 Double the trouble.

Two SID forks on the bench. Swapping a 3-position lockout to a remote lockout setup to match a frame running a dual-lockout remote. 🚵‍♂️

The mission: keep one fork on the race bike and put the other back onto the training bike. Easy? Not quite. 😅

Charger 1 vs Charger 2:
⚙️ Different damper
⚙️ Different air shaft
⚙️ Different lower-leg lengths
⚙️ Different extension lengths

Different parts, same purpose. A little bit of Frankenstein engineering later… 🧟‍♂️🔩
