I found myself being introspective and deeply ruminating about this concept of FREEDOM over the weekend.

Freedom; choosing your own path. Freedom; a settled, non-anxious life.. We can tell a great deal about someone’s freedom — whether one does the work that gets noticed or the work that needs to be done (even unnoticed). Freedom is to belong, with nothing left to prove. Freedom is having a new heart that desires transformation, becoming a life that we yearn to live out.

The world is not first persuaded by our arguments, but by our ordinary integrity; honesty at work, unhurried, content and dependable self…

This is my version of freedom, what’s yours?

Really proud of you Mel 💕

We haven’t been as close these past few years, but I still think back to 2020 — a hard time for me — and how much it meant just knowing her then. Some people leave a mark even when life takes you in different directions.

Yesterday, she rode 60km and then walked straight into a room full of women at Rapha Singapore to run a ☕️ sensory workshop. No rest, no fuss, she just fully showing up for the things she loves; coffee and cycling… and the way she always gives others all she has and putting all our comfort before hers 🥹🥹🥹

Lately I’ve also felt God mending my female friendships — teaching me how to celebrate other women instead of comparing myself to them, or letting distance become an excuse to stop caring. Watching Carmel build this life on her own terms in her own time is honestly inspiring, and I’m grateful I get to cheer her on.

Proud of you Mel. Truly.

Come and ride with us this Sat 15.08, 6am @ MacRitchie Reservoir Drop-Off Point, approx 80km (there’s a shorter route available)! We end our ride at Rapha Singaporee clubhouse where Carmel will guide us in a coffee & tea workshop (from sourcing to roasting) for all of us ladies 😍 We all get to curate our own drinks at the endRaphat! There will be non-caffeinated options too 🤩

2 years ago today, I became a BMC Bikes ambassador — and honestly, it still feels surreal to say that out loud ☺️💕

Tomorrow marks two full years of being part of a brand that doesn’t just make bikes, but builds legacy. Rides on my BMC has taught me something new about performance, precision, and passion (yes even the cafe chill rides). From the way the frame responds on a climb to the confidence it gives me flying down a descent — these bikes have pushed me to become a better rider every single day.

But none of this journey would mean anything without the people behind it. To the entire BMC family — thank you for trusting me, for believing in my journey, and for giving me the incredible opportunity to represent a brand with such rich heritage in the world of cycling. Being part of this legacy, riding machines that are engineered with so much heart and innovation, is a privilege I never take for granted.

I also want to give a huge shoutout to Integrated Riding, my local distributor, for their continuous and unwavering support over these two years. From logistics to encouragement, from support to just being there when I needed advice — you’ve been an incredible partner in this journey. Thank you for making it possible for riders like me to access world-class bikes and gear right here at home 🇸🇬

We celebrated our Guo Da Li and 2-year anniversary over the weekend.

I thank God for His faithfulness at every step of the way. Looking back on the weekend, we had many full circle moments and testimonies of His goodness and grace in our families and friendships.

Of course we had our fair share of struggles leading up to this day.. like how to do a Christian Guo Da Li (?), what items to include, how to honour your parents and not burn out 😬 I will share more in the days to come..

But for now, my heart is full….and I’m so at peace that Caleb Kay He chose you for me 💕🥹

We got to catch up and even pray for and with them.
