Should I have 20g of protein each meal? Should I only have 1 bowl of rice instead of 2? Is there too much butter on my kaya toast ? Can I eat this donut? Should I have Kopi without milk to make it healthier?
Rather than obsessing with numbers, or sacrificing our favourite foods, focus on reducing the amount of calories first. Excess calories, is still excess calories - no matter what and how healthy you eat.
This is a general guide, that is simple to start your healthy eating with. A diet rich in whole-foods, wholegrains, vegetables & fruits with moderate amounts of complex carbs and complete proteins. It's easier than it sounds. Don't complicate it.
