Today both our coaches , Coach Chia received a chocolate Royce , A Teacher’s Day card and flowers & Coach Steven received a Teacher’s Day card from their students who appreciated their effort in teaching the kids swimming making it fun and enjoyable ways of learning for them.

Also to thank to all the parents who have support and believing in us.

While waiting for her swimming coach to arrive, a 74-year-old woman entered a condominium pool with a lifebuoy around her waist to practise on her own.

However, she slipped and eventually drowned.

Pls be careful if you are going to beaches recently doing any water activities like kayaking or canoeing as this are saltwater crocodiles 🐊.

SINGAPORE – The National Parks Board (NParks) is monitoring an incident involving several crocodiles that escaped from a farm in Batam on Jan 13 2025.

Their escape is believed to have resulted from downpours over three days, which caused parts of the fence around a breeding pond to collapse, according to reports by Indonesia media.

Bulan island, where the farm is located, is roughly 30km from recreational offshore island Sentosa.

印度尼西亚峇淡岛连日下大雨，导致一个鳄鱼养殖场围墙坍塌，好些鳄鱼逃出。鉴于新加坡距离峇淡岛不远，我国国家公园局因此密切关注情况，并提醒公众若发现鳄鱼，应保持冷静并通知当局。

根据印尼媒体，在印尼峇淡岛的布兰岛（Pulau Bulan），一个鳄鱼养殖场星期一（1月13日）在连日暴雨后围墙倒塌，养在池中的一些湾鳄（Saltwater crocodile）脱逃。

国家公园局证实接到通报，并已在周围放置警示牌。公众若遇到鳄鱼，应保持冷静，后退离开。
社交媒体Instagram户头“sgfollowsall”星期一（1月6日）上载一段视频显示，一只鳄鱼在义顺水坝附近的水沟旁靠着墙壁向前游行，附近路面上则可看见有行人正在走路。
国家公园局野生动物管理高级署长侯俊明答复《联合早报》询问时说，公园局在星期一接到通报。根据视频内容，里头的动物相信是一只河口鳄鱼（Estuarine Crocodile），这种鳄鱼经常出现在柔佛海峡。

Pls becareful if you are doing any water or land activities in this areas at Yishun Reservoir.

An estuarine crocodile, or Crocodylus porosus, which is known to be found in the Strait of Johor.

Members of the public are advised to stay calm and back away if they encounter a crocodile, after one such reptile was spotted near Yishun Dam.

In response to a query from The Straits Times, National Parks Board (NParks) group director of wildlife management How Choon Beng said NParks was alerted to the crocodile sighting on Jan 6.
