Secondly, we are making several changes in distribution of donated items. We have a humble space and even baby items and cutlery makes it difficult for David to do repairs. Please be patient with us.

We recently received donations of groceries, cutlery & electronics which we have given to low income folks ( https://thebikeshack.org/blogs/latest/groceryshack-updated-19th-july ).

We have decided to formalise and publicise this activity on our social media platforms. If you have items to donate, please note we will announce and distribute them on Saturday evenings, twice a month, at TheBikeShack, IMM.

Beneficiaries are - individuals verified by partner institutions, those under ComCare, migrant workers and/or Blue CHAS cardholders (for selective items).

Dear customers, patrons and fellow eco-cyclists,

Firstly, I apologise for being so tardy in our updates.
David and I have been busy with some social activities, besides TheBikeShack, which involves special needs children and vulnerable seniors. Although it's not on the scale of what we do with TheBikeShack but it does take up what little free time we have. It's not an excuse, but I owe you an explanation, since my last update was in December.

I've updated our blog and it now includes all our recent cases. Please do check out their stories here (https://thebikeshack.org/blogs/stories) as well as to keep them in your prayers🙏

Secondly, we renewed our lease with IMM this January. Our attempts to get the authorities to adopt or take over our idea has not been successful. Although, we are a bit discouraged, we decided to go on since there is nobody else who is setting up similar in the North, East and South. There are more than 250 blocks of rental flats and over 50,000 households we need to serve, with your support.

Thirdly, we have received very positive feedback to our CSR Teambuilding activities! You can check out what we do here (https://thebikeshack.org/blogs/latest/CSR-Teambuilding) and here (https://thebikeshack.org/blogs/latest/our-first-private-csr).
We need your help to speak with your company, cycling group or association so we can create meaningful impact together🥰.

Hubby and I are exhausted but feel privileged to support Hougang-AMK GoRide6.0. CSN Chair Patrick is the consummate gentleman and always upbeat. Adviser Mr Darryl David is so smart and engaging, and the whole team (including Land Transport Authority – We Keep Your World Moving and Singapore Police Force) were so professional and energized to serve the constituencies. Quite a sight to behold 😯🥳👍. Feeling so honored.
