Our campers took on a fun team water challenge, working together to transport water using buckets β€” and keeping the water moving from one end to the other without spilling it all! πŸͺ£πŸŒŠ

It was all about teamwork, communication, coordination and a little bit of speed. The best part? Getting absolutely soaked along the way! 🀣

Working together, they collected sticks, palm leaves, shells, stones and other natural materials to create this incredible giant shark! 🦈🌿

It wasn’t just about making something cool β€” the challenge encouraged teamwork, creativity, problem-solving and communication as the campers planned, built and brought their idea to life. πŸ’ͺ🧠

What happens when you mix vinegar, corn syrup and bicarbonate of soda?!

πŸŒ‹πŸ§ͺ VOLCANO ERUPTION AT CAMP GUNGHO! 🍿πŸ”₯

Our campers got hands-on with science today as they created their very own bubbling volcanoes! πŸŒ‹

Using a simple mix of vinegar, corn syrup and bicarbonate of soda, the campers explored what happens when different ingredients react together. The bicarbonate of soda and vinegar created a fizzy carbon dioxide reaction, while the corn syrup helped make the eruption thick and colourful! 🀩

From building their volcanoes to predicting what would happen when the ingredients were mixed, our campers were learning through messy, exciting, hands-on science β€” and of course, they loved watching their volcanoes erupt! πŸŒ‹πŸ’₯

Football teaches us that growth rarely happens in one big moment. It happens quietly β€” through encouragement after a mistake, patience when something doesn’t click, a few extra minutes of practice, and someone reminding you to keep going when you want to give up.

That’s what our coaches give our players every week. They don’t just teach them how to pass, shoot or defend. They help shape how our children face challenges, work with others, believe in themselves and learn from failure.

So this week, we take a moment to say thank you. Thank you for the lessons that happen on the pitch, and for the ones that stay with our players long after the final whistle.
