May was anything but "maybe." One thing I appreciate most as a is seeing clients follow through on the promises they make to themselves.

This month was filled with people showing up consistently, embracing the process, and putting in the work even on days when motivation was low. That's where real progress is made, and I'm proud of every step they've taken towards becoming stronger, healthier, and more confident versions of themselves.

No April Fool here, the effort this month has been real.

April might come with its jokes, but there’s been nothing casual about the work put in this month. My clients stayed consistent, showed up with intention, and kept building towards a stronger, healthier version of themselves.

Proud to see the focus and discipline stay locked in. Progress like this doesn’t happen by chance, it’s earned, one session at a time. Let’s keep the momentum going.

Marching towards strength consistently in a committed way. Proud to see my clients continue to show up, put in the work, and stay committed to building a stronger, healthier version of themselves.

No shortcuts, no rush, just steady progress through discipline and intention.

Kudos to everyone who kept marching forward, even on the tougher days. That’s how real results are built. Let’s keep it going.

Chinese New Year came with heavy plates but my clients made sure the only thing that stayed heavy were the weights. Between the feasting and the festivities, they still showed up to train and put in the work to press out those extra calories.

Good to see no one hit the pause button, just the reset. Gong Xi Fa Gains 🧧💪🏽

January Win: 3+ Years in the Making 💪

Big congratulations to my client, SC, for finally achieving her first muscle-up after more than 3 years of grind, patience, trusting in the process, and showing up even when progress felt slow. Super proud to celebrate this milestone as her trainer. It is also time to officially graduate her from pull-ups, now off her training menu.

If you’ve got a fitness goal you’ve been chasing whether it’s a muscle-up, pull-up or something else. Drop me a message!

This December, I put my fitness and mindset to the test, riding from Singapore to Yunnan, China. It started with an 800+ km, 10-hour ride up to Hatyai, Thailand on Day 1, demanding endurance, focus, and mental discipline right from the start.

After pushing through Thailand and a tough stretch in Laos where broken roads turned 200 km into a 6-hour grind, the pace shifted once I entered the Mohan Border in south of China. Riding along the China National Highway G214 and G318, the journey became both demanding and rewarding, with stops through Pu'er, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La and Shaxi along the way just to name a few. Mileage was steadier, but the real challenge came from altitude, snow, black ice, and freezing mornings down to -6°C.

The highlight was going up to 4,680m at Jade Dragon Snow Mountain on foot without the need of oxygen support, a humbling reminder that fitness goes beyond strength. It’s about preparation, patience, and the ability to stay calm and focused when conditions are uncomfortable.

Closing the year with new experiences, vivid memories, and one big bucket-list item checked off. Feeling truly grateful for the journey and everything it taught me, excited to see what 2026 has in store!

November was packed full of action, from my own weekly run training with the team at Pace Ritual to my clients showing up with purpose in every session.

Super proud to see Azman and Shuck taking fitness outside of the gym and participating in a dragon boat and pickleball competition respectively. Performance, commitment, and progress all showing through.

December up next, let’s finish the year with intent.

Peak energy — literally. Congrats to Wee Koon for climbing up 11km over 8 hours to the Yushan Main Peak in Taiwan! A true test of physical endurance, mental determination, and pure grit. What a way to put all your training into action.

Also giving big kudos to my other clients for their steady commitment, showing up week after week with intention and focus. Progress doesn’t happen by chance, it’s built through consistency, and you’ve all embodied that well. Time to charge into November!

For the past 5+ months, I’ve been joining running sessions organized by my friend, Fadz, and it’s been a game changer. What started as a way to condition my stamina has become a consistent part of my training routine, helping me prepare for more bike classes and future rides.

People often think riding is just “sit and twist the throttle,” but anyone who’s tackled uneven trails or off-road routes knows it takes serious focus, stamina, and quick decision-making to pick the right line and stay alert. Running has been a great way to build that engine.

Shoutout to my client, Wee Koon, who jumps in for these runs whenever he’s free, always good energy pushing through the miles together. Excited to keep this going and see how it carries over into future rides and classes.
