BP Benchmark has always been about progress, trying hard things, and seeing how far you’ve come. But yeah… after hearing your feedback from this round, we agree that BP Benchmark 6 missed the mark in some areas. Some climbs were pushed too far, some movement styles were too unfamiliar for the intended grade, and the overall experience didn’t land the way we wanted.
BP Benchmark has always been a free community initiative alongside regular gym entry because we believe climbers deserve opportunities to track progress, challenge themselves, and celebrate growth together.
So we’re running it back.
BP Benchmark 6 Re-Test will take place on 6–7 June at Boulder Planet Sembawang, with recalibrated climbs and a fresh round of attempts.
We’ll also be inviting past BP Benchmark 6 badge holders down on Friday afternoon to help forerun and calibrate the climbs beforehand because, honestly… letting our community help shape BP Benchmark feels like the right move here.
If you checked in at BP Sembawang on 16–17 May and did not obtain the BP Benchmark 6 badge yet:
• Entry Pass users will receive 50% off a Single Entry Pass
• Monthly Plan holders will receive complimentary entry
Thank you for the feedback, the honesty, the memes, and for caring enough to tell us when something feels off. We hear you, and we’ll keep improving BP Benchmark moving forward.
See you on 6–7 June 🫡
