While you’re still climbing and voting on the Emergent set, let’s look ahead to what’s next 👀 Introducing our setters for the Setters’ Showdown 2026 Pro Edition 🔩

This is a line-up backed by years of route setting experience and setters who have honed their craft across gyms, competitions and climbing communities based across Singapore, the Philippines and Australia 🇸🇬🇵🇭🇦🇺 and on 18 Sep, they’ll come together at Boulder Planet, bringing all of that experience to the wall and each putting their own ideas and movement into the boulders they create.

And this isn’t the full line-up yet. Joining them will be the Overall Winner of the Malaysia Edition 🇲🇾 plus one more setter who is still to be decided: the Overall Winner of the Emergent Edition.

Emergent voting is still open until 13 Sep, so keep climbing, keep voting and help decide who earns that final place in the Pro line-up 🗳️

Then from 18–26 Sep, the Pro set is yours to climb, and yours to vote on for People’s Choice.

Nepal and its mountains hold a special place in the wider climbing world. With communities now facing devastation from the floods, we hope our climbing community can help where we can. Saturday? More like Setter Day 🛠️ On 26 Sep, we’re bringing you closer to the craft, ideas and people behind the climbs, and giving you a chance to get hands-on with it yourself.

Climb and vote for the Setters’ Showdown Pro Edition, explore parts of BP you normally don’t get to see at the World of Holds, take your turn as a setter at the Community Art Mural, and complete the Setter’s Circuit, with BP Benchmark Grade 1–4 badges and more up for grabs 💥

From 21–25 Sep, Setter Week gives you a different way to get into route setting each day. Learn to set your own boulder. Name a movement you’ve always wanted to learn and have our setters build it for you on the spot. Climb alongside our setters as they unpack the ideas, movement and beta behind the Setters’ Showdown Pro Edition set. And catch our BP setting team working alongside international guest setters from STAX, Australia and bhive, Philippines across both gyms.

ERP, Nicole, Shawn, Brena and Boon have each put their setting to the test, but who set what stays under wraps 🤫

Come down to Boulder Planet Sembawang, climb the full set and cast your vote via the QR codes in the gym from now till 13 Sep.

Your votes will crown the People’s Choice winner, which together with the Setters’ Choice will determine the Overall Winner, who advances to the Pro Edition 🔩

The Spray Wall can look like a lot when you don’t know where to start. That’s why this September, we’re running two Intro to Spray Wall sessions: one for Grade 6–7 climbers and another for Grade 8–9 climbers. Learn how to choose and create problems at the right level, structure your attempts, and use the wall to work on specific movements instead of just picking holds and hoping for the best.

Our regular Gym Guide sessions are also running at BP Sembawang and BP Tai Seng throughout the month, with real-time guidance to help you work towards your next climbing milestone.

BP Breakthrough Sessions are free. Standard gym entry still applies. Use an Entry Pass or Monthly Plan when you check in. Limited slots available. Book via the BP App.

One important note before you book: because these sessions are free and spaces are limited, they tend to fill up in advance. If you book a spot but don’t show up, another climber who wanted to attend misses the opportunity to take your place.

Please only book if you know you can commit to the session. If your plans change, cancel your booking at least 48 hours before the class so someone on the waitlist has the chance to take your place.
