“Finding grace under wobble” ft my “toxic friendly”
I love to train balance work because it’s not only about staying on it. When the ground feels unstable, it’s more of the inner work working - finding your focus, your breath and your centre through all the shivers.

As it teaches us, it’s less of perfection and more of slowing down and letting the body organize itself ♥️

I’m grateful to get to do a class with MT .k._yung during this trip in 🇭🇰 It is honestly another level of fun and insightful session! One hour and I felt like learning is never ending! Thank you .k._yung for prioritising what my body really needed rather than giving me the usual “Gyrotonic® sequence”. It is also my first time trying most of the other apparatuses & the Leg Extension work definitely humbled me 😂 (It feels very good for my knees and hips)

Big love and heart to .k._yung for being so generous with your time and knowledge. I truly enjoyed it , can’t wait to see you soon! ♥️

And is such a vibe, doing this in Hong Kong just hits everything cozy and warm 🏠

We are onto the third month of the year so soon! 🐎 💨 Throwback to my first group Reformer class comeback after the knee injury with 💓 My glutes and core were on fire and thank you for ending the session with this Swan stretch (I love it!). Can’t wait to be back again, 有机会再见 🤭

Monday “calm over chaos” feat doing one of her “favourite” lateral exercise (or rather it’s mine hehe). Side Bend is such an underrated and underestimated movement on the Reformer. The magic cue is “It’s not how far you bend, it’s about how much space you can create” Think of “Lift before you bend & your obliques will love you!” ✨

Into the world of Botero’s volume and Hockney’s perspective, I learned that there’s more than one way to see the world. Art teaches depth and learning to see “differently” in another person/artist pov is a form of growth. 初三的我: 去看看别人的世界 🧚‍♀️✨💖

In guiding others, we also quietly reveal what we need to practice. The reminders we give are reminders for ourselves too. Keep being consistent with learning, re learning and un learning - all will eventually come back in full circle ♥️

Back to the drills, but the mind and body are still spiralling from the past weeks of rewiring and unwinding movements (in a goooood way). I began exploring ® with curiosity last year and then found myself woke up with this gentle nudge of “Should I try signing up for Teacher Training?” Not sure how but it was a decisive move made with trust, and signing up with and felt right. I am thankful to be able to meet these incredible girlies who move with grace and strength, and to be able to do this course together with makes our bonding time even more special ✨🫧

As the Foundation ended, it only marks the beginning of something more and I don’t know exactly where this path will lead but I’m choosing to walk it with trust and instinct.
