Had the privilege of trying out YOLO Meal Plan thanks to
Here’s my honest reviews and whether YOLO meals is for you.
First of all, what’s different about YOLO Meal Plan is that they will choose your food for you based on your selected goal, which is great for people who are unsure of what food or how much calories to eat to achieve their goals like weight loss. Well I guess the downside is that if you are a picky eater like me 😅there will be a lot of food that you don’t like to eat, but that can be a good thing too, it makes you get those greens that you know you need 🥦 You also get macronutrients breakdown which helps calorie tracking.
I chose the weight loss plan (medium sized) to keep my calories low, in general I was very satisfied with the meal plan by YOLO, below are my list of pros and cons
✅ Calories and Macronutrients matches my goal - The calories for each meal ranges from 400-600 calories which usually includes 40-60g of protein
✅Balanced Diet - Every meal is different so you get different types of nutrients from different food sources
✅ Variety - Every meal is different so you never get bored eating same food everyday from traditional meal prep 🐓 🥦 🤢
✅ Good taste - Considering that calories are kept low and the meals are of healthy choices, I still find myself looking forward to these meals because there is always something delicious for example the Salmon Chicken Balls, Lamb Kofta and the Beef Meatballs, tbh I usually only enjoy the protein stuff but I find that the veggies in this meal plan such as the cauliflower rice and sautéed veggies way more edible that other sources
