Special Pop-Up: Chair Yoga Basics with Gwen 🪑
Yoga doesn’t need a floor to be powerful.
Chair yoga is a sequence of gentle, supported postures designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and posture. By moving the spine, shoulders, and legs while using a chair for support and balance, you can safely build strength and relieve tension — no getting up or down from the floor required.
This makes it a wonderful entry point for anyone managing joint pain, recovering from injury, navigating pregnancy, or simply preferring a lower-impact practice. It’s also ideal if you’ve never tried yoga before and want to build confidence in a supportive, judgement-free setting.
Why practise chair yoga?
✨ Improves flexibility and range of motion
✨ Builds strength safely, without floor transitions
✨ Eases tension in the neck, shoulders, and back
✨ Supports better posture for everyday life
✨ Accessible to all bodies, all ages, all levels
Gwen will guide you through the basics — proper alignment, breath, and how to use the chair as a genuine tool for your practice, not a limitation.
