NYBO (Tianjin, 18–22 July 2026)

ABA made its second appearance at the National Youth Basketball Open (NYBO) International Youth Basketball Invitational Tournament 2026 in Tianjin, China.

The competition featured top international teams from the USA, Russia, Spain, Canada, and China, with teams earning their spots through nationwide qualifiers representing their respective cities and provinces.

A memorable highlight for our boys was receiving words of encouragement from NBA Hall of Famer Yao Ming, who cheered them on with the inspiring message, “继续努力” (“Keep working hard!”). His support was a meaningful source of motivation for the team.

The team was also honoured by a visit from Sport Singapore’s senior management, who took the time to meet the players and show their support. 🏀

CLS CUP (Surabaya, 27 June–5 July 2026)

Our U16 Development Centre (DC) boys successfully defended their CLS Cup title at the 2026 edition in Surabaya, Indonesia.

After falling short against the same opponents in the group stage, the boys showed tremendous resilience, determination, and composure to turn things around in a thrilling finals rematch and reclaim the championship.

Our U16 girls also delivered a commendable performance, showing consistency, grit, and fighting spirit throughout the tournament. 🏀

TARO CUP (Taipei, 21–27 June 2026)

ABA made its third appearance at the Taro Cup, competing against strong international teams from the USA, Japan, Chinese Taipei, Korea, Macau, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and Malaysia.

The tournament provided a valuable platform for our athletes to gain international exposure, test themselves, and continue their development on the global stage. Every game was a chance to learn, grow, and raise their level of play. 🏀

A look back at a strong finish to 2025 with ABA Development Centre (DC) participants💪🔥

Our ABA U12 Boys & U16 Girls proudly represented us at the International High School Basketball Championship, competing against teams from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Nepal and India.

Two U16 Boys teams and one U16 Girls team wrapped up the year with our final DC overseas camp, training hard with our ABA Coaches and gaining valuable match experience against Malaysian State, Club and School teams.
