Last Saturday, SweatINC Fitness (SIF) conducted a corporate event for Glanbia Nutritionals, covering fun and engaging self-defence Muay Thai techniques.

Developed over centuries, the ancient art of Muay Thai is not only effective in building confidence in self-defence through conditioning of the mind and body, but also provides a multitude of health benefits such as building strength, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.

Trainees were exposed to techniques such as jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts and roundhouse kicks, as well as strength conditioning exercises under the guidance of a team of passionate and qualified SIF Muay Thai trainers.

Welcoming our first Striking coach, Liang Wei!

With more than 3 years of Muay Thai experience as a fighter and a trainer, Coach Liang Wei possesses a myriad of knowledge in the field of martial arts and fitness.

Coach Liang Wei has worked with many reputable organizations such as Onyx MMA, Certis, Health Promotion Board and People’s Association as a Muay Thai Coach, and is also recognized by world-renowned Sidyodtong Gym in Thailand.

He believes that fitness is a long journey, and that students should always train hard, keep to their own pace and most importantly, have fun.

Introducing Coach Gallen!

A fitness enthusiast all his life, Gallen comes from a multi sport background representing his basketball and volleyball team during his younger days. Constantly looking for new things to challenge himself, Gallen has completed 2 full Marathons a couple of half marathons and too many long distance races to count. His regular weekly workout routine consists a 5 days a week strength workout routine.

His coaching philosophy, in his words is
"To bring out the healthiest, fittest versions of every one of my students"

We believe that with Gallen's work ethic and dedication to his clients he would be a great addition to the SweatINC Fitness family
