This past Saturday, both Yexun and Ray participated in Kai Muay Thai hard sparring event. These are my key takeaways:

1. In a ring where it is difficult to move backwards all the time, sitting down on your punches and kicks is king. Power triumphs over “flicky” stuff.

2. Efficient footwork is more important than having fast feet that requires 2 steps instead of 1.

3. Finding your rhythm and deciding for yourself how much to push is more important than listening to cheerleaders whether it is your cornermen or the spectators.

No trial classes will be available during this period.
