🎳 What a start to the 56th Singapore International Open!
A huge congratulations to Tan Jun Yang on his incredible runner-up finish in the Under 12 Masters Finals! After securing a spot in the stepladder finals by just ONE pin, Jun Yang made the most of his opportunity, defeating the No. 2 seed 264–203 before narrowly falling to the eventual champion 167–162 in a thrilling title match.
Your composure, determination, and fighting spirit throughout the tournament were remarkable. This silver medal is a well-deserved reward for all your hard work, and we know there are many more great moments ahead. 💪🥈
A special shoutout also goes to Christa Lim for her resilience and perseverance throughout the event. After a difficult start with a 97 opening game, Christa refused to give up and continued battling through every game, climbing the standings to finish an impressive 13th place.
Results don’t always tell the full story, and Christa’s tournament was a perfect example of what it means to stay positive, trust the process, and keep fighting until the very end. 👏
We couldn’t be prouder of both bowlers for representing us with skill, determination, and sportsmanship on one of the biggest stages in youth bowling.
