Standing in a salmon river, it’s hard to imagine a world without wild salmon.

Yet the numbers tell a different story.

Farmed salmon production continues to grow year after year, while wild salmon populations struggle in many parts of the world.

Wild salmon deserve more than our admiration—they deserve our protection.

No wild salmon. No salmon rivers. No fishing stories.

Let’s make sure that never happens.

The change to some real Salmon weather made the fish move! Finally the first one and a lovely 98cm for our dear friend Robin Wilén !
Caught on Ullsocken Size 8 and released again !

Sometimes they don’t wait for the camera.

A beautiful sea trout in my hands for just a second… then gone. No photo, just the memory. Maybe that’s how it should be.

Christer nailed it yesterday on the River Tweed — a fresh springer in perfect condition, complete with sea lice and visible egg strings. A proper wild fish straight in from the salt, just the way you want to see them.

The river had settled nicely and conditions felt right… and suddenly it happened. These are the moments that keep you coming back. Now these 3 days are over and we’re on our way home. We’re back in Feb-27

My second springer these days landed today on the River Tweed.

The water had come up this morning and not so much color – perfect conditions. We saw a few fish moving through, and then suddenly… a pull on the fly.

Christer was right there with the net and made it happen – always a team effort.

Moments like this are why we keep coming back.
