I'm happy to say we are done with registration process, and there are 5 teams registered for upcoming season.

There is a first edition of ruleset we will use in the our Swedish medieval league.

As a basis will be used rules from next well established organizations: HMB, WMFC, IMCF. Depending on category respective rules will be applied. Biggest attention are payed to fighting rules, what movements are allowed, what is forbidden, how points counted during fight and how winner are determined. Minor attention are payed to authenticity rules, organizational moments and armor and weapon requirements, thus they can deviate from listed in official documents. Weapon size and weight requirements will be important, but not visual defects and/or beauty of armor. Modern repair kits are allowed.
To remind: the point of this event is to learn/recall rules for different categories, gain experience, meet friends and have fun.

At a time there will be 2 teams and 4 Marshalls.

Competition will be held in 4 categories:
1. Sword&Shield (HMB)�- 1 round of 90 s. 2 points to the winner of the fight. 4 fights in total = 8 points to distribute. Draws not possible.
2. Polearm (IMCF)�- 3 rounds of 60s with 60s rest between each round (2 rounds only, if won by same fighter). 2 points to the winner of the fight. 4 fights in total = 8 points to distribute. Draws not possible.
3. Profight (WMFC - Donjon Cup)�- 2 rounds of 90s with 45s rest between each round. 2 points to the winner of the fight. 4 fights in total = 8 points to distribute. If draw

Hello!
So far there's 5 teams registered for the seasonal tourney! Still some short time to register yours for chance to get loads of valuable experience and chances to win awesome prices from Buhurt Tech!
So far if no more team register it will be a season of 10 events, 10 weekends, 2,5 months of constant events if done straight. This is a huge step for sport in Sweden, hopefully it will grow even huger year by year ;)

After registration deadline is passed we will post info and pics of each of the teams fighting in the event!

Hej Everyone!

A long time has passed since we introduced our upcoming seasonal event for season 2021, Due to difficult situation with corona virus, we will prolong the registration time up to the end of February. SO you still have time to sign up! We are happy to see more people!

I would like to share with all of you the concept of the event and the idea behind it.
Here are 5 main resons why we do this and why it's of your interest to contribute:

1. To give more practice opportunities to fightetrs. Exchange experience between clubs, to have fighting experience more often and not with the same people all the time.

2. To develop ourselves as versatile, allround war machines, that's why it so important to have duel, polearm, profight and mass battle experience involved. Especially 2vs2 format will help to develop so crucial skills of working in pairs (fast takedowns, efficient 2vs1 and 1vs2 fighting tactics)

3. To gain experience as battle marshalls. To have strong national community, it is not enough to have only fighters, skillful marshals is necessary to conduct inner events more often and it is crucial to have people that are always awknoledged of the latest changes in rules and participate in international events as part of the marshal team. And such small but seasonal event is an excellent platform for training new marshalls and exercise current ones.

4. Great opportunity for new fighters to test their skills. Every capitan encounter a situation when there is a new fighter, which already tried armor on club trainings and somehow ready for his first tournament, but there is only big international events available. It's expensive, takes more time and usually with tough competition, which leads to small or no progress, higher risk of injury and drop of enthusiasm. Such situation appears in countries with small or no at all number of local events. It is very difficult to progress without gradual difficulty increase, that's why small local events are necesary for healthy developing of new generation of fighters and exersice existing ones (you can see it on example of countries with high amount of local tournaments, like Ukraine, USA or Russia).

5. There will be prizes for most enthusiastic ones! Provided by Buhurt Tech! One of the most known Buhurt Visionary.

I want to introduce next step in Buhurt sports in Sweden :D
We will be arranging seasonal event for the season 2021!
Name of this seasonal games will be Buhurt Tech Games, named after the event sponsor, Buhurt Technologies who will sponsor with awesome prices ;)

The event will be in the form similar to soccer season, teams will be put in different pools, accumulate points during the season and highest ranking teams will advance to playoffs!

Events will look somewhat like this -
First team fighters will compete in 1vs1 categories, sword and shield, polearm and profights, wins from these will contribute points.
After 1vs1 categories there will be 5 rounds of 2vs2 buhurts, where you can win points for each round and for each of your fighter standing after each round.

Each weekly event will consist of two teams consisting of two persons.

Please comment on this post your registration of your team, anyone who is interested is allowed to join, no matter club, country, gender etc. Find a mate and sign up!
Deadline for registration is January 2021.

Dates will be discussed individually during February, to make it as fitting as possible for every team.

More details about format of event will come as the season is closing in!

Aw s**t, we've missed this again...
Well, we have vecation here in Sweden so I'm going to blame that.
Went to a small tournament here in Sweden with Vargarna, and won all rounds.
