The 25-26 "comeback" season wraps up with a convincing win vs AIK and we put this one in the books. Coach Lou "I want to start off with thanking everyone around me who has enabled us to be able to have this platform so we can again, develop players in house to reach their basketball dreams. That path is by far not a straight one but being able to provide our young players to grow in house and also attract like minded youth to get with our program to see success, is necessary for our culture.

This season has been everything from amazing to a struggle at times. Our youth and unexperience has at times made us lose close games and we even dropped a couple of games to inferior opponents. But through the ashes has risen talents because they didn't have a choice and that is key to our program; how we answer to pain and hardship, what is our character and who will stand to fight.

This team has shown great will to compete and eventhough i have more often than not asked for them to sacrifice to the limit of impossible, they answered and showed that we share the same grit and shattered our own expectations on what we can do. Now is time to reflect on what needs to be improved as we move forward to create an even more attractive and efficient development program to create more college and professional players. Once again I want to thank all these guys in this picture for their contribution. I respect and love you as brothers and men. It's been a huge honor to go to battle with you guys and I'm super excited to see the next chapter. Tomorrow is the start of 26/27 season and I promise we will turn up the volume."

Pirates play their best basketball with the playoff spot on the line by beating the nr1 team in Superettan.
Pirates had led the game 65-50 at halftime and was able to protect the lead behind Mikais 38p game and Melvins amazing 7-10 from behind the arc dropping 25 points to help their team to victory.
Coach Lou :" Coming to this game with the knife on our throat, we knew we are going up against an excellent team that possess size and skills so we needed to stick to our gameplan and try to protect the paint. All 5 guys needed to help out rebounding and fighting in the paint for us to be able to come away with a win. We wee able to get timely stops and go on breaks were guys played a balanced transition basketball making good decisions.
Fryshuset is an excellent team and maybe today we wanted and needed it more and that was our advantage. Also playing at home in front our fans and their support game us a boost. Now we move forward and prepare for the last 3 games to try and stay within playoffs. "

With only 4 games left of regular season, Pirates are still in the fight for playoff spot.
This saturday we'll face off with the best team in the league and we need to play next to perfect to have a chance to beat Fryshuset.
For that we need everyone in the audience to get loud and make sure our opponents aren't comfortable.
Fryshuset who hold on to the nr 1 spot are an excellent team with many weapons at their disposal.
Make sure you and yours come early to support the guys.

Pirates had a 3 hour trip to Jönköping to play the nr 3 team on hostile territory. The guys led by Mikai came out ready to play and controlled the game from start to finish.
With 6 players in double digit scoring it was hard for the opponents to stop the bleeding and had no choice but to see the game run away from them.
This game moved Pirates back into playoff spot but they need to put up a fight vs the nr 1 team Fryshuset next Saturday at home to establish their position.
Coach Lou: "We finally played up to standard and was able to apply pressure to stay within our gameplan frames eventhough we we're missing William. Specially great to see Ibbe, Mikai and Melvin play up to par. We are the second youngest team in this league and need our still young but more experienced players to lead the way for the even younger to follow. Great energy, urgency and pride behind this win. Lets stay within this script and keep pushing"

Pirates square up against Aros tomorrow at home to take another step in securing a playoff spot in Superettan.
Forwards Melvin and Niko talk about this weeks preparations to try and protect homecourt and get another 2 points.
Game starts 15.45. Make sure you get there and be the 6th player we desperately need!
