HJUVIK VINNARE I SALTSJÖBADEN
Inför finalen var det Strängnäs som låg i ledningen, före SSÅV - Segelsällskapet Åmålsviken och Hjuviks Båtklubb. Efter en rafflande final där Strängnäs tjuvstartade var det dock Hjuvik som gick totalvinnande ur deltävlingen.
På andra plats slutade Strängnäs och trea Åmålsviken.

Team happy with today even though we didn’t get the best results! It’s been a while since we raced together and we had a lot of good lessons out there today🔥 Excited to do more racing and hoping the storm tomorrow won’t be strong enough to keep us on shore!

Eyooo we’re settled in after a few days being tourists in Auckland! Today is the training day and tomorrow is the first day of the Worlds🔥🔥 here you have the team + for the week!! We’re stoooked to finally do some match racing again and to finally be back together 🫶🏼

Vi gratulerar Årets kvinnliga seglare – Team Johanna Bergqvist, Hjuviks BK

Reimerspokalen delas ut till den kvinnliga seglare (junior eller senior) som gjort den bästa kappseglingsprestationen under året.

Motivering: Trots flera år i världstoppen får årets vinnare sällan de stora rubrikerna. Men när Europas bästa kvinnliga besättningar möttes hösten 2021 stod den svenska besättningen i särklass. I de åtta race som kördes vann de fyra och var tvåa i fyra – trots att hela europaeliten var på plats. Och trots svårseglade lätta vindar höll de koncentrationen och gjorde något ingen svensk besättning, manlig eller kvinnlig, ens varit i närheten av tidigare: De vann Sailing Champions League.

Highs and lows describes this week pretty well, but wow it’s been amazing! Never competed in such a high level regatta where you can go from first to last in seconds. Day 2 done🔥 We hit the bottom in the first race but managed to turn it around for the last three! Feels like we’ve got back to how we usually sail and learnt to stay away from trouble 🤙🏻 Tomorrow will be 32 degrees and good breeze! See ya later🔥🔥🔥

It has begun!! Today was very tight and a bit tricky, but we’re slowly getting our heads around being a fleet of 9 boats in every race!🔥 Here’s the link to the results and LIVE tracking from every race. Tomorrow will be lighter breeze and hopefully it will be to our advantage!🤙🏻

It’s been a week since the finals of Nordea Women’s Trophy!! We sailed very well during the regatta up until the most important day - finals. It was a crazy good week of sailing in heavy breeze and we’re happy to come away with a 4th. 🔥🔥 Even though we chased the win, we couldn’t really control the nerves and did a few mistakes that were too big to come back from the last day. In a finals fleet with only 4 teams left there’s no room for mistakes. HUGE congrats to and her crew for smashing the two races!🔥🔥 We’re now getting ready for some revenge - the Champions League Finals in Travemünde starts in 5 days💪🏼💪🏼 See ya there!🤙🏻
