Allow me to introduce our new chief of security here at Dammbråten Hästgård; Siegfried. 'Ziggy' to friends.
Don't let the puppy eyes fool you. Ziggy can reduce an old sock to nothing but lint in a matter of seconds.
Ziggy will make sure your stay is worry free of any outside disturbance. Extra services (cuddles or kisses) can be attained through blatant bribery.

Our last post generated a lot of interest in our beautiful little piece of paradise we have here. But there also seemed to be some hesitance and insecurity due to the ever changing rules and regulations around covid19
That has now finally been taken away. Sweden is yellow! (nederlandwereldwijd.nl/landen/zweden/reizen/reisadvies).

The summer is far from over, the sun is blazing over the green pastures and the watertemperature of the lake is just perfect.

Summer has found it's way up to the middle of Sweden. 26°C in the shade!
And what better way to end a day of riding in the forrest, than with a BBQ on the lakeside.

Have you started making plans for the summer holidays yet? We would love to welcome you at Dammbråten Hästgård and invite you to stay at our lakeside 'Stuga'. Enjoy all the beauty swedens' nature has to offer. With seemingly endless hiking trails, uncountable lakes to explore by kayak or canoe. Impressive waterfalls or hilltop views that strecht for miles and miles. Or maybe just go for a swim right of the deck next to the stuga and enjoy selfmade pancakes over a campfire.

If you love horses, then you are really in the right place. Say hello to our sizable shires Sieske and Freya or our impressive Clydesdale Sunshine. If you can ride a horse, why not come along and book a ride in the forrest with us. The world looks very diffirent from the top of one of our giants. If you have never ridden a horse before, why not book an introduction to horses and see how it feels. All within the safety of our own paddock.

You can even bring your own horse if you wish and use our Hästgård as a staging area for all sorts of exploratory trips in the surrounding countryside.

Worried about Corona? Staying at our hästgård is the most enjoyable form of quarantaine you could inmagine. Should unforseen travelrestrictions prohibit you from travelling to Sweden, all reservations can be cancelled without any extra costs.

We are greatly looking forward to greeting you at Dammbråten Hästgård.

Stunning aerial view of our Stuga by lake Badasjö. Located 150m away from the main house, so far enough to enjoy complete privacy, but close enough for use of all amenaties.

Enjoy a cool glas of rose on the deck while enjoying the sundown over the lake. Or take our little boat out for a trip along the 8km long lake.
