With pain in our hearts we unfortunately have to tell you that we had to say goodbye to our dearest Sunshine in April. She was in a lot of pain and we had no choice. It will never become any easier to say goodbye to an animal that has given us so much love. The gap she left behind was very big, not only within us, but also within the two horses that stayed behind Sieske and Freya.
And even though we felt Sunshine cannot be replaced we felt we needed to fill that gap and of course that gap had to be filled by a gentle giant. So in June we welcomed a new addition to our group. Meet Rania, a sweet, very social and beautiful shire mare of 9 years old. Rania loves attention. Feel free to stop by and say hello.

Though cold, it is a beautiful day today. -25°C. The ladies couldn't wait to get outside this morning to enjoy the sun.
