Hello!
During the end of 2025 and in the beginning of 2026 the tests has been going on fully with the Casmat FIA.
We have been doing this together with MSE, for those of you that might not know, these are the same guys who runs the series, and also manufacture the , , cars, and many more high end racecars.
The plan is that they will start to produce the , that will be a "Casmat FIA" based Crosscar.
The tests of the cars has given us good insight how to find the speed and performance in the "FIA chassis", and now we are beyond the performance we had in the "old Casmat chassis", that has been as most of you know, very successful during the years.
The tests has been going both on Rallycross tracks in Sweden, and also in the USA.
The last test session was Orlando FL,10-11 of February this year.
The planning of the new productionline at is under development, and side by side by we will do our best to help all our Casmat customers with parts and support, until the new productionline is up and running.
Until everything is ready we will offer all the customers with the "old style Casmat" the possibility to by an "FIA upgrade chassis".
We know that there is many casmats out there who are stuck and can not go racing due to the demand for the new chassis style in many series.
As many of the parts are "reusable" between the FIA chassis and the old style Casmat, this will be a one of a kind opportunity to come back to the racing on a decent budget.
The "kit" will include a "Casmat FIA chassis" a set of control arms, a set of uprights, ( knuckles) fiberglass kit, and a steering box.
Engine mounts for Suzuki or Yamaha.
The rest of the parts can be used from your "old Casmat"
For example rear transmission, driveshafts, brakes, pedalbox, etc.
(If you want to upgrade some of your old parts we will ofcourse be of assistance.)
These kits will be made in a limited number, and only until the new productionline is up and running.
Also, you will ofcourse need to have basic mechanic skills to move all the parts between the cars.
The kits for making the "standard to FIA" will start @ 10000E.
We have already started the production of these frame kits so let us know asap if you want to get one of them.
