6th June cancellation reminder - both Haga and Judarskogen are cancelled this weekend. Here is some travel guidance on how to access other options from the centre of Stockholm.
Huddinge Parkrun (the hilly one)
This can be reached using various train/metro/bus combinations but they can take some time and it might be better to walk from some of the stations. Assume a 45-75 minute journey from central station. For Google maps use Huddinge parkrun, Gamla Stockholmsvägen 87, 141 32 Huddinge. Use the SL app or website for tickets and timetable options..
Lillsjön parkrun, Kungsängen (if you want to swim)
The start line is located next to a lakeside beach with a changing room, toilet and cafe. The journey takes 85 minutes from central station. For Google maps use Lillsjön parkrun, 1, Lilllsjön, 196 34 Kungsängen. Use the SL app or website for tickets and timetable options..
Uppsala parkrun (the flat personal best one)
Stockholm Central to Uppsala. There are multiple trains per hour. The cheaper commuter trains can be accessed from Odenplan as well. SJ sell tickets for the faster mainline trains. For the commuter train you can use a SL ticket to cover the local Stockholm transport part of the journey and then a UL ticket for the remainder of the journey. It should be possible to buy a combined ticket in the SL app. The SL/UL ticket allows for 150 minutes of travel so with the right trains and a fast run you may get away with one ticket.
Djäkneberget, Västerås (another slightly hilly option)
Stockholm Central to Västerås Central 07.43-08.40 then a walk.
There is an 08.14-09.10 option but a slight delay could mean that you miss the start. Use the SJ website or app for tickets.
Örebro parkrun (a flat nature reserve)
Stockholm Central to Örebro Central 06.14-08.02 then a walk or a local bus. There is an 07.14-09.02 option but this would require a run or a taxi from the station even if the train is on time. Use the SJ website or app for tickets.
