Yogiraj is blessed to be a selected brand at gorgeous - the new Scandi farm crush at Gotland.

Sandra, you’re a yoga teacher with your own studio, Existo, on Odengatan in Stockholm. This summer you’re also a yoga teacher at Journey of Yoga, Herbalism & Farm Life, June 25–28. Tell us more please!

I hope that participants will have the opportunity to break away from their usual routines and patterns, and come closer to both themselves and the world around us. The proximity to the rugged nature, the wind and the sea creates a special stillness. Having time to truly be in the body, to pause and listen inward — that’s something we often lose in everyday life.

What type of yoga will you be teaching?
The morning begins with a comprehensive 90-minute practice with pranayama, meditation and strengthening asanas — a dynamic vinyasa that awakens both body and mind. In the afternoon we settle into a more integrative and calm practice with yin, guided meditation and breathing exercises. We will also explore technique and philosophy on a deeper level, to create a greater understanding of our own capacity to find balance — both through the body’s positioning (asanas) and in our relationship to ourselves, our ingrained patterns and ways of thinking.

What do you love most about Sibbjäns?
Gotland is incredibly close to my heart. It’s a place that doesn’t quite resemble anywhere else. The sky feels endless, and the sea surrounding the island reminds us that we can’t — and don’t need to — control very much. We are small in relation to all the vast and beautiful things that exist and have always existed. Sibbjäns truly embodies this. Their commitment and respect for nature, animals and tradition feels genuine. They live self-sufficiently and even have their own water purification system — that care permeates the entire place.

What are your top wellness tips for this summer?
Be outside as much as possible. Leave your phone at home sometimes. Spend time with people you love. Be here and now.
We live in an intense world with constant stimulation, and it’s easy to lose yourself. Give time and space to what is real — to what actually matters.
