GET IN THERE!!!
P1 in Karlskoga!🥇
It has been 4 years since i got to stand in the top step of the podium. But the wait is finally over and the years of work has paid off. I will take it from the beginning.
FP1 - P2
Qualifying - P4 +0,3 seconds to P1
Grid R1: P4
Grid R2: P4
Grid R3: P3
Race 1 - I made an okay start and maintained my position (P4). A few laps later l overtook P3 and finished there. (My first podium in Formula Nordic).
Race 2 - I got a poor getaway from the line and was almost P5 going in to T1. But I managed to brake very late and went around the outside in T1 all the way up to P2. I was now right behind the leader. A bit later on the same lap i managed to get the leader on a tight line and compromised his corner exit speed. Coming onto the next straight i knew i was close enough to make a move. I pulled out of the slipstream at the very last moment and sent it down the inside. The move was a success and i took the lead. From there on i lead every lap all the way to the flag. Crossing the line for a very emotional victory!🥇🏆
Race 3 - Manage to maintain my starting position (P3) despite an electrical fault on my in car display.
