A rather rainy Haga parkrun today, but still a great turnout of 143 finishers including a few first timers with IK Hephata

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone to Haga parkrun this Saturday, and this week we’re especially excited to be hosting Hephata Loppet with IK Hephata💙

👉 As part of making the event accessible and welcoming to everyone, our welcome briefing at 9.15 will also be given in sign language for our deaf participants. 🤟 (thanks to Anna and Adam)

We’re really pleased IK Hephata will be joining us on Saturday, for the Hephata Loppet. The intro briefing at 9.15 will also be shared in sign language by two of our Haga regular runners, Anna and Adam.

🎉 What a fantastic celebration of 10 years of Haga parkrun, the first parkrun in Sweden and the Nordics.

🎈10 years, 418 events, 44,800 finishers, 560 different volunteers, countless dogs, and just one Deri Thomas.

Thanks to Deri for starting Haga 10 years ago, and for all the volunteers and participants over the years for making it such a lovely welcoming community of avid parkrun-ers.
