I feel honored and grateful for being invited to participate in the Wellbeing Economy Forum in Reykjavik, Iceland.

I started off the conference with a seated guided mindfulness meditation and chair yoga and ended with a self-compassion and Metta practice.

Jesper and the president of Iceland Halla Tómasdóttir discussed how business and health for people and planet can co-exist - “The way out is in” (Thích Nhất Hạnh).

I feel inspired with a sense of urgency.
Hope is a verb, as Halla Tómasdóttir said. We need to act from our compassionate and wise hearts. And everyone of us has a role to play. Connecting with each other and ourselves, we grow in compassion and care for ourselves, each other and our planet. Compassion for the world is empathy in action!

When we make a u-turn inwards, start loving our own difficulties, make peace with our inner struggles, breathe with our difficulties.

When we open our hearts to ourselves, we open our hearts to the world.

We trust the goodness in each one of us.

May you find peace

Do you want to learn and practice mindfulness meditation online in a small group?
I offer a 4-week introductory course, starting Sunday April 12, and now look for two more participants.

In this short 4-week introductory course, you will learn about the basics of mindfulness meditation and how it can help you find more stillness and peace. You will learn how to direct your attention in a deliberate manner to focus on the present experience of your body, mind, and emotions. We will practice how to find and cultivate our inner resources, such as self-compassion, and will be introduced to the use of RAIN as a tool for emotional regulation and healing.
You will walk away with practical tools to start a mindfulness meditation practice of your own.

This course is offered as part of my mindfulness meditation teacher training practicum through the Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program (MMTCP) and is taught with a trauma-informed approach, emphasizing choice, consent and self-regulation.

This course is designed to be accessible, welcoming and supportive for both beginners and those returning to practice.

Dates and details
Sundays,: April 12, 19, 26 and May 3, 2026
Where: Online
Time: 4-5.30 pm (CET)
Cost: Free

Commitment:
Participants are asked to attend all four sessions.
Participants are encoranged to ask questions during the Q& A session.
All sessions will be recorded and used for internal purpose within the MMTCP.
Space is limited to keep this group small and supportive.

Each session will include:�
Short talks (10-15 minutes) on compassion and mindfulness of body & breath, mindfulness of emotion and mindfulness of thought and RAIN.
Guided mindfulness meditations (10-15 minutes)
Shared reflections and Q&A
The course is in English.

This course is for you who love yin yoga — and who sense that there is a deeper way of being with yourself.

It is not about becoming a better version of yourself.
It is about coming home to the one you already are.

Here, we don’t try to fix what feels broken.
We learn to sit beside it.
To breathe with it.
To meet it with warmth instead of judgment.

Self-compassion is not something we add at the end of the journey.
It is the ground we walk on.
The atmosphere we practice in.
The heart of every step.

At the core of compassion is a courageous and tender turning toward our pain —
a willingness to whisper: “You belong here too.”

When we allow ourselves to meet life as it is — the beauty and the ache, the strength and the vulnerability — something softens.
And in that softening, healing begins.

In this course, you are gently invited to:
• listen to the quiet intelligence of your body
• regulate your nervous system through slow, embodied presence
• recognize your inner experience with curiosity instead of fear
• soften resistance and cultivate a felt sense of safety
• respond to your own suffering with care
• hold self-doubt, inadequacy, worry, and stress in a field of compassion
• choose ways of living that are aligned with your deepest values
• nurture an inner relationship rooted in kindness rather than pressure
• practice RAIN as a pathway back to wholeness

This is not a journey toward perfection.
It is a return to your own open heart.
