Its unique hybrid construction combines aluminium with Nordic Sport’s specially developed carbon fibre, distributed evenly throughout the entire javelin body.

The result? A smooth, responsive and forgiving feeling through the approach and release—followed by the stability, aerodynamic response and powerful gliding flight of an elite carbon javelin.

Freya is available with our world-unique NXS and NXB tips, allowing athletes to choose the aerodynamic characteristics best suited to their technique and wind conditions.

Birmingham Chose Nordic Sport

The European Athletics Championships in Birmingham chose Nordic Sport to deliver essential equipment for one of Europe’s biggest athletics events—and we could not be prouder.

We have supplied hurdles, landing mats, crossbars, uprights and much more for the championships. To be selected for an event of this calibre is a powerful recognition of our quality, reliability and ability to perform at the very highest level.

Seeing our equipment in action in Birmingham is a special moment for everyone at Nordic Sport—and perhaps makes us slightly more nervous than usual whenever an athlete approaches a hurdle!

THE YEAR OF TOTAL JAVELIN DOMINATION.

2025 will go down as the year Nordic Sport owned the runway.
At the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, when the javelins flew – they were almost all ours.

Out of 56 throws in the men’s final, 55 were made with the Valhalla Javelin.
That’s 99.8% of all attempts.
A number that says everything about trust, precision, and performance.

🥇 MEN’S JAVELIN – A NORDIC CLEAN SWEEP

Keshorn Walcott took gold with 88.16m using the Valhalla Medium Hybrid.
Anderson Peters followed for silver.
Curtis Thompson claimed bronze.
Gold. Silver. Bronze.

In the women’s javelin, Juleisy Angulo delivered the performance of her life – throwing 65.12m with the Diana Javelinto take gold.

🥇 MEN’S SHOT PUT – THE VALHALLA FAMILY STRIKES AGAIN

In the shot put circle, Ryan Crouser threw 22.34m with the Valhalla Shot Put, winning yet another world title.

We are so very, very proud that Nordic Sport was chosen as total supplier to all of these three new facilities just being built in Angola. Big thanks to our fantastic Portuguese Partner! They have chosen excellent high quality products for their new facilities.
Three full containers will arrive in Luanda port in a day or two and six full containers will leave Europe towards Luanda beginning of July. 🇸🇪 ❤️ 🇦🇴
