Growing up in the martial art world i the 90’s Chuck Norris was one of biggest martial art names and movie action heroes. As. Young kid I loved watching his movies and he quickly became one of my personal favourite martial art actors.. years after I saw my firat movie with him I learned that he played a villain in a movie with Sijo Bruce Lee. Funny enough, mr norris inspired me to learn martial arts but it was not until after my first year of studying jeet kune do, that I watched my first Bruce Lee movie from the beginning to the end and no it was not the one with chuck norris (R.I.P)..

Both of the have made a huge impact of my martial art journey, but for different reasons.

Today is truly a sad day as I learned of the passing of Grandmaster Chuck Norris.

But I choose to be grateful for his contribution to the world of martial arts and dedicate my training session today in his honor and memory..

Thank you mr Norris and may you rest in peace!

It is with heavy hearts that our family shares the sudden passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning. While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.

To the world, he was a martial artist, actor, and a symbol of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, an incredible brother, and the heart of our family.

He lived his life with faith, purpose, and an unwavering commitment to the people he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired millions around the world and left a lasting impact on so many lives.

While our hearts are broken, we are deeply grateful for the life he lived and for the unforgettable moments we were blessed to share with him. The love and support he received from fans around the world meant so much to him, and our family is truly thankful for it. To him, you were not just fans, you were his friends.

We know many of you had heard about his recent hospitalization, and we are truly grateful for the prayers and support you sent his way.

As we grieve this loss, we kindly ask for privacy for our family during this time.

I decided that i wanted to record me doing the Bruce Lee's famous JKD lead power sidekick exercise drill.

It has been just about 18 years since the last time I did it and it was the first time doing it after I god cleared for training after the surgery I had.
