It started with one cross-country skier wanting better gear. ❄️
Our founder, Lasse Granqvist, was an active skier who got tired of gear that didn’t perform the way it should. It started with a simple problem — a hat that wouldn’t stay in place and left his ears freezing. His solution became our first product: ear warmers that stayed put and kept the cold out.
Not long after, Lasse took on the next challenge: ski gloves with better fit, comfort, and grip. In 1980, the first LillSport cross-country ski gloves were launched — while Lasse was still competing himself.
Driven by curiosity to challenge what already existed. That’s where LillSport began. 🧤
