ARK is a Swedish sports brand born in Stockholm Archipelago – the birth place of swimrun. The team behind have been involved in the sport since the beginning and are key-persons in the development and expansion of Swimrun Worldwide. In 2017 our target were set to develop the next generation of swimrun equipment and a new way of approaching the market. We spent several years doing research and product tests in tightest collaboration with the World’s best swimrun athletes. Daniel Adams-Ray has been a true ARK ambassador for years, always believing in us and pushing ARK forward.

WORLD CHAMPIONS

Hugo Tormento & Adriel Young are the 2026 ÖTILLÖ Swimrun World Champions in the men’s category.

What an incredible performance. What a team. And what an emotional victory.

This one was about more than crossing the finish line first.

For so many years, Hugo raced side by side with Max Andersson. Together they pushed the limits of swimrun, won this race, set the course record and created memories that will forever be part of this sport.

But Adriel has his own special history with Max too. Max’s very first ÖTILLÖ victory was together with Adriel, right here on Utö in 2021. Since then, Max and Adriel have raced several races together, sharing both competition and friendship along the way.

This year, Max wasn’t standing next to Hugo or Adriel on the start line.
But he was there.

In the thoughts, in the memories and in the heart.

To see Hugo and Adriel return to ÖTILLÖ and win the World Championship together makes us incredibly proud and emotional.

Two incredible athletes. Two incredible friends. And somewhere along those islands, it felt like they were three.

Congratulations Hugo & Adriel. World Champions.
