The KEEL™ Family
Introduced in 2019, the original ARK KEEL™ changed the way swimrunners think about pull buoys.
Inspired by a boat’s keel and designed specifically for swimrun, it introduced a new way of combining buoyancy, hydrodynamics and seamless transitions. Since then, its distinctive shape has inspired many pull buoys across the swimrun market, a testament to the impact the original KEEL™ has had on the sport.
Seven years later, the original KEEL™ has grown into a family of five different sizes, making it easy to find the buoy that matches your experience, strength and goals.
KEEL™ MINI and KEEL™ S are excellent choices for pool swimming and technique sessions, while the original KEEL™ is the pull buoy we recommend as the perfect starting point for most swimrunners. From there, you can progress to KEEL™+ and eventually KEEL™ MEGA as your strength, technique and experience improve.
