Boston Whiplash Volt Hockey Team The Boston Whiplash Volt Hockey team is based in Massachusetts as part of the Eastern MA Volt Hockey Club. What is Volt Hockey?

As the first team in the United States, the Boston Whiplash is helping to pave the way and grow volt hockey in the country. Volt hockey is an adapted form of indoor hockey where players with disabilities use specialized, low to the ground, power wheelchairs with a paddle affixed to the front of them. Played 3 on 3, players use teamwork, skill, and strategy to maneuver and score the ball into the o

A huge thank you to Boston Bruins Foundation for supporting our team and volt hockey in Massachusetts!

We’re thrilled to share that the Boston Bruins Foundation has awarded the USVHA a $50,000 grant! 🐻🏒💛

This support will directly strengthen volt hockey right here in Massachusetts, helping the Boston Whiplash and Space2Thrive Rolling Warriors teams continue to grow, and power our training clinic returning to Greater Boston this summer.

We’re incredibly grateful for organizations like the Boston Bruins Foundation that support hockey in all its forms — especially adaptive sports — and recognize that the game truly is for everyone.

Boston Whiplash had an amazing time in Malmö, Sweden this weekend! We played many amazing games and learned a lot, as well as getting to watch a ton of other adaptive sports! Great job to both Whiplash teams for all their hard work and dedication!
