Gavin Staindl retires from the men’s national team after an incredible career, proudly representing Australia 77 times—the most in the team’s history—while wearing the iconic number 27 jersey.
Gavin played a key role in Australia’s success at the World Floorball Championship Qualifiers (WFCQ) in 2014, 2016, and 2018, contributing to the team’s notable victories against Russia and Poland. His journey was made even more special by sharing the court with his brother, Ray Staindl, creating unforgettable moments together.
Beyond his achievements, Gavin has been a cornerstone of the brotherhood within the team—a bond built on hard work, trust, and passion. While he steps away from the court, he will always remain a part of this family.
