Tobacco Trail Ett långdistanslöp längs den gamla smugglarleden över Kirunas lågfjäll Denna led har fått ge namnet till den nya långdistanstävlingen som arrangeras i Kiruna.

To***co Trail, alltså Tobakslöpet, går delvis längs en gammal smugglarled som löper genom Kiruna, Soppero, Karesuando och vidare. Vacker natur, trevliga människor och massor med glada arbetande hundar väntar dig! För mer information och anmälan www.tobaccotrail.se

What a weekend it has been.

From the first start to the final finishers, the trails around Lannavaara have been filled with determination, teamwork, and incredible effort.

A big thank you to all participants, handlers, volunteers, spectators, and everyone involved in making this race possible! 🙏

The Long Distance teams made their way back through the night, with all teams now arrived in Lannavaara after 300 km on the trail.

The first three teams to reach the finish line were:
1. Raine Niemi
2. Maarten Van Cauwenberghe
3. Anouska Terlouw

The Mid Distance race has now also been completed, with all teams back after 150 km.

The Long Distance teams are now on their final stretch.

Two French teams, Jordi Allirand and Padrig Feunteun, have scratched at the checkpoint.

Raine Niemi turned back shortly after the start to drop a dog, but is now back on the trail together with the other teams.

The first teams are expected back later tonight. 🤩🏁

The Long Distance teams set off yesterday at 20:00.

Great energy at the start line 💪

All teams have now reached the second checkpoint, where they are completing their mandatory rest before continuing.

The first to leave will be Raine Niemi and Julie Travadon, followed by Maarten Van Cauwenberghe.

Daniel Worrsjö, Katarina Worrsjö, and Regis Bernigaud have unfortunately had to scratch.

Good luck to all the teams on the last stretch!
