🌲 2 pm: Saddle up! Head to Horses of Taiga 🐴 for a guided Family Ride through the stunning boreal forest of Swedish Lapland on gentle Icelandic horses.

🔥 Afterwards: Back Lapland Adventures 🌲 Jenny, Basti and Ylvie for a Kennel Visit & BBQ – cuddle rescue huskies, watch them run free, help feed the pack, and end the day with a delicious bonfire meal.

📅 Available Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday – book the day that suits you best!

And the best part? Every Wednesday, Lapland Adventures’ guests get a free shuttle to and from both activities. No car needed – just show up and enjoy! 🚐✨

Start your adventure with a wonderful Family Ride at Horses of Taiga. You’ll prepare your gentle Icelandic horse and go on a beautiful 1-hour guided ride through the stunning nature of Swedish Lapland – perfect for beginners and horse lovers alike!

Afterwards, the adventure continues at Lapland Adventures with our Kennel Visit & BBQ. Meet our furry companions, enjoy plenty of cuddles, experience the energy of our rescue dogs in the freerun area, and help feed the pack. To top it all off, a delicious meal cooked over an open bonfire awaits you!

Am 6. Juni feiert Schweden seinen Nationalfeiertag! 🇸🇪✨

Wusstest du, dass dieses Datum gleich zwei historische Meilensteine markiert?
👑 1523: Gustav Wasa wurde zum König gewählt – der Beginn des modernen Schwedens nach der Befreiung aus der Kalmarer Union.
📜 1809: Die schwedische Verfassung wurde verabschiedet, die den Grundstein für Demokratie und die konstitutionelle Monarchie legte.

Heute feiern wir Unabhängigkeit und nationale Identität. Doch es ist auch der perfekte Moment, um auf das zurückzublicken, was das Leben der Menschen in Schweden wirklich geprägt hat: Alltag, harte Arbeit und tief verwurzelte Traditionen. 🌾

Ein wunderbares Beispiel dafür ist die Fäbod-Kultur (die schwedischen Almhütten) und das bäuerliche Leben, das wir noch heute an Orten wie dem Kulturreservat Gallejaur in Norrbotten hautnah erleben können.

Gallejaur ist ein einzigartiges Zeitfenster in das 19. Jahrhundert. Der erste Siedler, Pehr Svensson, baute hier 1801 seinen Hof. Über Generationen lebten die Menschen hier von Landwirtschaft, Jagd, Fischerei und Forstwirtschaft. Die Frauen und Kinder zogen im Sommer oft mit den Tieren auf die Almen, damit die Felder ruhen konnten. Dort stellten sie Käse und Butter her und lebten im perfekten Einklang mit der Natur. 🐄🌲

Noch bis 1989 führten die drei Schwestern Greta, Lisa und Ebba Karlsson in Gallejaur das traditionelle Leben ihrer Vorfahren fort. Dank Ebbas Wunsch wurde das Dorf 2008 zum Kulturreservat erklärt. Heute können wir dort die gut erhaltenen Blockhäuser, den 300 Jahre alten Wald und ein lebendiges Stück nordschwedischer Geschichte bewundern. 🧀🌿

Das Anti-Mainstream Abenteuer 🛶🐾🎒

Kein Urlaubsplan, der schon Monate vorher in einer Excel-Tabelle steht. Kein Wlan-Passwort vom Campingplatzbüro. Nur du, die Wildnis und ein Rudel Huskies. 🌲🏕️

Bist du bereit, den Alltags-Spam stummzuschalten? Wenn du die Nase voll hast von durchgetakteten Campingplätzen, auf denen der Nachbar schon beim Frühstück den Tagesplan aushängt und das Lagerfeuer um 22 Uhr aus Rücksicht auf die Gemeinschaft gelöscht werden muss – dann haben wir da was für dich.

Auf unserem naturnahen Platz in Dragnäs (schwedisch Lappland) bestimmst du die Regeln. Stell dein Zelt oder deinen Camper einfach dort auf, wo es dir gefällt. Kein Parzellen-Tetris. Keine Hausordnung mit 14 Punkten.
