Lemon Blueberry Tea Bread

This Lemon Blueberry Tea Bread from deesviral is soft, fragrant, and bursting with fresh lemon and juicy blueberries — the kind of loaf that makes your whole kitchen smell like a bakery.

Ingredients

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• Zest of 1 lemon
• 1 cup blueberries
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup milk
• ½ cup oil
• 2 tbsp lemon juice

Glaze
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• 2 tbsp lemon juice
• 1 tsp lemon zest

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and lemon zest. Toss in blueberries. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, oil, and lemon juice. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently. Pour into pan and bake 50–60 minutes until set.

While still warm, mix glaze ingredients and pour over the loaf so it soaks in.
