Another incredible day high up in the mountains!

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a company for an unforgettable trip – with the full package included.

Fishing every day, a complete food package from breakfast to a delicious three-course dinner in the evening, and of course, epic experiences in the great outdoors.

This was one of the activities we enjoyed during their stay.

We started by taking the boat to one of our special spots. From there, the hike began.

We climbed up alongside two different waterfalls, which eventually led us to some truly spectacular mountain lakes.

In the crystal-clear waters, we managed to catch plenty of beautiful trout! 🎣🐟

After a full day in the mountains, the trout ended up on the grill together with some classic sausages, all cooked over an open campfire.

A full-day adventure focused on getting close to nature, enjoying breathtaking views and, of course, catching some of the beautiful trout that live in these crystal-clear mountain waters.

🚌 BUSSRESORNA TILL SENJA ÄR TILLBAKA! ✨
Efter många önskemål från er under det senaste året kan vi äntligen berätta den glada nyheten – 2027 relanserar vi våra populära bussresor till fantastiska Senja! 🏔️
Vi vet att många av er har saknat möjligheten att resa med buss, och därför har vi bestämt oss för att ge bussresorna ett nytt försök.
Under 2027 planerar vi två bussresor till Senja:
🗓️ En resa 1a mars
☀️ En resa 9e augusti
För att vi ska kunna genomföra resorna med buss behöver vi få ihop tillräckligt många resenärer. Skulle en bussresa inte bli fullbokad kommer resan ändå att bli av – då får du istället flyga till Senja till samma kostnad som bussresan. ✈️
Det betyder att du tryggt kan boka din plats, samtidigt som vi tillsammans får chansen att få tillbaka bussresorna till Senja. ❤️
Vi är otroligt glada över att kunna erbjuda detta igen och hoppas att lika många som har efterfrågat bussresorna nu vill följa med oss!

Nu börjar året gå mot sitt slt och det är dags att blicka fram mot nästa säsong! 🎣🇳🇴

Och det är faktiskt inte långt kvar innan skreien återvänder längs Norges kust. Förra året var helt magiskt – otroligt mycket skrei och ett fantastiskt fiske, ofta utan att behöva åka långt från campen. 🔥

Här är några härliga bilder från en dag i mars. Snön ligger kvar på bergstopparna, solen strålar från en klarblå himmel och skreien hugger stenhårt! ☀️❄️🎣

Vill ni uppleva skreifisket när det är som bäst, då ska ni komma upp till oss på Camp Steinfjord från slutet av februari, hela mars och en bit in i april.

Looking to experience fishing like nothing you’ve ever done before? Then you should join us for one of our fishing weeks in November. 🎣

The days are short and the weather can be tough and windy, but it can also be absolutely magical. This week, we had great conditions throughout the entire trip, with sunshine almost every day — and at night, the Northern Lights danced across the sky. 🌌

This is a fishing trip that’s hard to beat.

The main target is halibut. We head out in our neighbor fjord and search the shallow waters for these powerful fish. We use heavy spinning tackle, or strong fly rods for those brave enough to take on the challenge. Then the hard work begins — casting, searching and grinding until that big bite comes. 💪🎣

On one of the days, we landed 8 halibut and lost several more. Halibut over 150 cm are not uncommon, and they are aggressive predators that will hit just about anything.

Last year, one of our guests landed an incredible 207 cm halibut on a spinning rod. 🤯🔥

Yes, November fishing can be tough.

But yes — it is absolutely worth it.

I don’t think there’s much more to say than to simply look at these pictures. 🎣🔥

When bollstafiske was up here, we headed out for a day on the water to see what we could catch. After just a few casts, hooked into this absolute dream fish.

After an intense fight, we finally managed to get it into the net. It wasn’t until we had the fish in our hands that we truly realized just how big it was! 🤯

Unfortunately, we never got the chance to weigh or measure it, as it slipped out of our hands while we went to grab the measuring tape. But what a moment! 🙌

May and June can offer some fantastic sea trout fishing. We have a few areas that we regularly fish, and on the right days, you can run into some seriously big trout — with fish up to 4 kg possible.

For one of our guides, Pontus Andreasson, the sea trout season had been a struggle so far. But on this evening, he finally managed to get one on the board, a beautiful trout of around 45 cm.

The midnight sun was shining, the sea was completely calm, and everything was quiet.

Then suddenly, Kim, on other side of the bay, started shouting that he had hooked a monster!

Our first thought was a big salmon. I immediately ran over to see what was happening.

As the fish got closer, we finally saw what it was…

A halibut!

With an incredible stroke of luck, Kim had somehow managed to hook and land a halibut of around 10 kg on a sea trout rod, using just a 20-gram sand eel lure.

That is definitely not something you see every day. An absolutely unforgettable fishing experience!
