ISM has identified counterfeit saddles that are being sold via online stores. With these counterfeit saddles circulating the market, we want to provide our retailers with assistance in identifying what is real and what is fake as your consumers may attempt to return one of these saddles to your store. Typically, the counterfeit saddles are made with lower quality cover material, have a roundness to the rails where the saddle attaches to the seat post, have imperfect cover graphics (some with improper colors) and have been marked on the bottom of the saddle with a circular mold stamp indicating the saddles were made in December 2015. We have provided pictures showing the defects as a reference for you.

ISM is working toward reporting any counterfeit saddles we find, but it is unknown how many are being circulated. We thank you for your assistance with this matter, and we will continue to work toward keeping ISM saddles one of the best saddle on the market.
