Carbon composite combines high stiffness and strength with low weight, key characteristics for high-performance sailing.
Seldén carbon spars are designed using finite element analysis and manufactured using our unique Mandrel Filament Moulding (MFM) process. Fully automated and computer-controlled, the process ensures accuracy and repeatability while creating the distinctive ‘Viper’ pattern.
The combination of greater stiffness and reduced weight will bring you beyond the speed limits.
More than 400 carbon masts are produced by Seldén every year, alongside carbon booms, poles and bowsprits.
