And so it is here, the last day of the original Backa Boulder. ❤️

Tomorrow, Monday 14 September, we’ll close for the week, hopefully reopening on Saturday 19 September. Opening time will be announced later in the week.

This is the week we connect the old with the new. A busy week ahead, and we are ready! 😬💪

Road to the New Backa Boulder 2.0. Week 7.

⚡️ OK, UPDATE TIME! ⚡️

The Tension Board 2 is officially UP AND RUNNING! 🙌🔥

☕️ New coffee machine, in place and ready to fuel your sessions.

💨 The ventilation system somehow seems to be getting bigger every week… 😅

🚿 And the changing rooms are getting some love too, we’re in the process of opening them up and creating more space.

Bit by bit, piece by piece… Backa Boulder 2.0 is getting seriously close! 👀🔥

🔥 IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING! 🔥

After months of planning, building, dust, chaos and a whole lot of hard work, Backa Boulder 2.0 is almost here! 🙌🔥

We will close week 38, Monday–Friday.

The big opening will be the 19th September.

We will post more info closer to that date.

There are many people who don’t use social media or are just oblivious to useful information 😅 If you know any of these people, please help us spread the word so we don’t have anyone disappointed when they turn up and find us closed.

⚠️ There will be no kids’ groups during week 38.⚠️

Yes, we know the kids’ comp is on the same day. We’ll be open all day, so go and compete, then come to Backa afterwards! 🙌🔥

Road to the New Backa Boulder 2.0. Week 6.

We’ve started building some boulders! And don’t worry, we’re aiming to fill up the walls like we always do. 💪

Last week we received a bunch of new holds and volumes, with even more coming this week.

It seems like the closer we get to being finished, the messier it gets. 😬

The Tensionboard 2 should be finished this week. 🙌

Important: We will have to close the gym soon for around 5 days. We’ll of course keep you all updated, so please keep an eye out in the gym and on social media.

This week we’re open as normal, and even today we’re resetting the slab so you’ll have some fresh boulders to climb. 💥

We’re all doing our best to get this finished. With a whole lot of love, hard work and determination, we’ll be ready soon. ❤️

Still going strong! 💪 Yes, it still looks like a construction site, but it’s our construction site, and we love it. 😅

The sign is up, most of the panels are in place, and a few other small details are done. 🙌
