All ready for the busy upcoming weeks!
We got beautiful cold conditions ( still a bit more snow would not hurt ) definitely better than last year. For sure guests will have a great time with all winter activities in the area.

Lovely days with friends helping training the dogs. They sure need to run, although we have some guests it is nowhere close to Xmas holidays... Now we have beautiful conditions so it is winter wonderland 😊

Today's training
No guests, some easier days now so enjoying a lot.
Fresh snow and quite some wind makes a perfect opportunity for leaders to practice.
Alis is surely becoming more confident and proud... One small mistake when she wanted to follow ski track after hunters, but after that did perfect!

Finally little time to breathe after Christmas/New year holiday time. Lot of happy guests and lot of work for dogs, now we will take it bit easier for a week or two and then it starts again.

This beginning of the season had everything, temperatures up to +7 and lowest -31 ( of course on trails we were experiencing -40 for sure ).
Amazing trail conditions and few days later lacking snow in lot of areas...
Do not think I ever did so much snow work on trails by hand - ever... At the end all worth it and now seems like we're getting more fresh snow :D

Yesterday's tour with the 9th graders from Dorotea Strandenskolan. Although we had quite challenging snow conditions (very well may have been the last tour of the season) the local youngsters did great!
While they were waiting for their turn to drive dogsled, they had a chance to cuddle dogs which were there as replacements and the retired ones, alongside having small lunch and snacks. Overall a beautiful day and sooo happy local youngsters (+ teachers) could do this with us and meet our lovely pack.
Hope they will have a nice memory ☺️

Also many thanks to MB Dorotea for letting us borrow benches for this event (simply no snow for making snow seats)
